Arrivedo is a San Francisco and Lima Peru-based company creating amazing neighborhood guides with local recommendations around every hotel in the world. All our engineering and product team work remotely from Lima, North Carolina and Mexico City and our main office is close to the beach by the way.\n\nWe are looking for a full stack software developer interested in building key components of our platform. This person will have the opportunity to contribute mission critical code right away and help to shape fundamental aspects of the product. You are expected to develop well-designed, reusable, scalable code with complete complementary testing and deployment architecture. You should be willing and able to periodically take on a variety of company roles as needed.\n\nRequirements\n\n- 3+ years relevant work experience preferred.\n\n- Excellent Python skills.\n\n- Significant experience developing dynamic, scalable web applications, preferably using an MVC framework like Django, Flask.\n\n- Strong understanding of RESTful web service APIs.\n\n- Experience in automated testing.\n\n- Some experience or fast learner in AWS environments.\n\n- Familiarity with JavaScript, ideally with front-end frameworks like AngularJS.\n\n- Fluent in English (verbal and written).\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n- Collaborate with product, marketing, and business teams to define product features.\n\n- Design and implement scalable software solutions in Python, Javascript (and other modern technologies).\n\n- Write performant, maintainable and testable code.\n\n- Write tests for existing code to ensure compatibility and stability.\n\nProfile:\n\n- Team player with a positive attitude who loves to hack and collaborate.\n\n- Proactive problem solver: You identify challenges and propose solutions to overcome them. You will be testing solutions for B2B and B2C in the travel and hospitality industry.\n\n- Adaptable and flexible: You will work in an environment of constant change and challenge. -\n\n- Understanding in remote work collaboration.\n\n- Technical skills: JavaScript (Angular,), HTML, CSS, notions on SEO and curious on new methods, technologies and tools that can help you solve your projects faster.\n\n- Constant learner: You are always searching for new knowledge that can help improve your developer skill set and are not afraid of trying, testing, asking and getting your hands dirty.\n\n- Detail oriented: You take care of the quality of your work.\n\nConditions:\n\n- This is a full time position.
