LivingSocial has a passion for email - we live, eat, sleep and breathe email - and we are looking for someone that shares the same passion. To put it mildly - we send A LOT of email. So, if traffic shaping, server and log monitoring, and IP management get your heart pounding, we have the perfect job for you.\n\nDesired skills, experience & qualifications:\n\n\n\n* Have you managed large volumes of emails using a modern MTA server, preferably Port25’s PowerMTA?\n\n* Do you understand these acronyms: DMARC, SPF, DKIM, rDNS, TXT and A records?\n\n* Do you have an intuitive grasp on the importance of IP and domain reputation?\n\n* Can you write fancy regexes to search gigs of logs looking for hidden treasure?\n\n* Can you monitor and track when a server is doing too much or, maybe, not enough?\n\n* Is “250 OK” music to your ears?\n\n* Do 4.X.X and 5.X.X make your blood boil?\n\n* Is rate limiting and throttling something you are always thinking about?\n\n\n\n\nIf you can answer these questions, we would love to chat with you about how you can make a major impact on our team.\n\nCompensation:\n\n\n* Competitive base salary and bonus plan\n\n* We’ve got you covered with health, dental, and vision offerings and a fantastic 401(k) matching contribution that vests immediately\n\n* Generous paid time off program\n\n* Some of our offices offer commuter benefits, all of our offices offer snacks...lots of snacks\n\n* Opportunity to work with committed, talented people with a great sense of humor\n\n\n\n\n\nLivingSocial appreciates your interest in our company as a place of employment.
