\nAbout the role:\n\n\n* You will work together with our software development team to deploy and operate our systems and you will support them in setting up and managing our Linux-based server landscape (dedicated servers, virtual machines, AWS, etc.).\n\n* You will take responsibility for the configuration und administration of our in-house servers as well as the server landscape of our booking platform.\n\n* You will team up with our Windows system administrators and take responsibility in the Linux and network domain.\n\n\n\n\nWhat we need from you: \n\n\n* Strong background in Linux administration (debian, Ubuntu flavours) and in Apache 2 and/or NGINX configuration and administration.\n\n* Experience with virtualization (Xen, kvm) and cloud server management, preferably AWS.\n\n* Good understanding of the concept of “automation” in production environments and strong background in configuration management based on Chef/Puppet.\n\n* Strong background in MySQL/PostgreSQL database and Redis key-value store administration (performance optimization, replication, etc.).\n\n* Experience in managing GIT repositories.\n\n* Used to working in high availability environments (redundancy, scalability) and experience in detecting and resolving server faults.\n\n* Knowledge of server-monitoring tools such as Nagios, New Relic.\n\n* Fluent in at least one scripting language (bash, perl, python or ruby).\n\n* Strong understanding of Internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).\n\n* Experience using Windows servers is a plus (to support the team members in that domain).\n\n\n\n\nCreate the future of transportation and:\n\n\n* Be instrumental in building the first global professional driver company.\n\n* Join a diverse and professional team characterized by flat hierarchies, a family-like atmosphere, flexible working hours and open feedback.\n\n* Grow in an environment that values trust and teamwork.\n\n* Enjoy a modern office with a variety of fresh fruits and beverages, frequent company and social events.\n\n* Receive attractive compensation and recognition of your achievements. \n\n\n\n\nIf you want to be a part of an award-winning company that promise a consistently exceptional experience around the world, please apply by email to
