\nDescription\n\n\n* Work as an integral member of highly motivated Product, Engineering, & Data Scientist teams to build plus manage scalable & Performance oriented software systems for an innovative Spatial Analytics Startup\n\n* Take part in establishing and driving best practices and engineering practices geared towards shipping products\n\n* Design, implement, and maintain software systems & infrastructure\n\n* Refactor and improve maintainability of the codebase.\n\n* Solve complex scalability, platform, and integration problems.\n\n* Learn new paradigms, languages, and libraries as you work.\n\n* Building, Managing, & Maintaining multiple application environments, including production\n\n* Manage systems and work in all aspects of the agile driven software development lifecycle\n\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\n\n* Strong communication & Collaboration Skills\n\n* Experience in Fast Paced Startup environments\n\n* Positive Attitude with proven delivery experience\n\n* Strong knowledge of OOP concepts, Functional & Reactive programming paradigms, design patterns, data structures & Algorithms\n\n* Strong passion to learn new technologies & methodologies\n\n* BS or MS computer science/related subject matter preferred or equivalent experience\n\n* 4+ years experience building & Shipping web scale and distributed systems\n\n* Strong knowledge in designing across all layers of complex software systems\n\n* 2+ Years experience with GO\n\n* 6+ Years building production systems and writing efficient code in multiple programing languages such as Java, Scala, GO, Python, Javascript, C++/C\n\n* 4+ Years experience with SOA/WOA based systems with strong understanding of HTTP, REST and like protocols, micro-services and system integration\n\n* Experience working in Polyglot code bases & systems\n\n* Knowledge of Scaling & distribution patterns\n\n* Experience & knowledge of concepts such-as Concurrency and Parallel paradigms, Asynchronous patterns, Threading & Processes, distributed components & systems\n\n* Experience with RDBMS systems such-as Sql Server, Oracle, Mysql, Postgres\n\n* Experience with SQL development experiences with solid T-SQL/SQL skills and proven SQL optimization skills.\n\n* Experience with NoSql/Big Data Technologies and Querying methods including Hadoop/Mapreduce systems, Apache Stack, Column Family, Key-Value, Document, and Graph data systems\n\n* Good Data Modeling experience\n\n* Experience with Search systems such-as Solr/Elasticsearch a plus\n\n* Experience building on top of or integrating with Analytics & machine-learning platforms is a plus\n\n* Experience with Node, and Front-end technologies such-as React/Angular, HTML & CSS is a plus\n\n* Experience in Financial, Retail, Spatial Analytics, Mapping, Location Based Services & GIS and like data and/or industries a Strong Plus\n\n\n\n\nThis position will be filled in either Seattle, WA or Miami, FL \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
