Our backend consists mostly of Java micro-services and a serverless data processing pipeline in Node.js. Our infrastructure runs on AWS (Docker/Beanstalk), deployed and maintained with Terraform.\n\n## Requirements\n* 5+ years experience as a software engineer developing cloud-native solutions\n* Strong computer science, security and networking fundamentals\n\n*You'll have expert knowledge of:*\n* Java (Spring Boot, J2EE) and Javascript (Node.js)\n* Database design (Postgres) and data processing (queues, caches)\n* API design, management and security\n* Functional programming and building serverless systems (AWS Lambda)\n* Unit and integration testing to deliver high quality code\n* Deploying, monitoring and scaling apps in a production environment\n\n*We're also looking for experience with:*\n* Ethereum blockchain\n* Big Data & Data Engineering experience (Spark/EMR/Kinesis)\n* Open source software and contributions\n\n## Benefits\n* Work remotely - anywhere in Europe (but Europe only).
