About The Opportunity
The Principal Service Consultant guides the overall design and delivery of the Ceridian HCM solution to meet customer requirements and provides oversight and direction to project team members in the execution of project activities in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (planning, discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support). The Principal Service Consultant works closely with the Project Manager to plan the project and identify critical dependencies. Internship Focus Area:
Climate Equity & Disaster Relief: Climate change does not impact every community equally, and it is incumbent upon us to implement inclusive solutions that do not leave anyone behind. The GM Climate Equity Fund aims to help fund organizations that are closing the climate equity gap at the community level and across three key areas: sustainable jobs, access to sustainable transportation and community climate action.
Responsibilities may include:
Supporting the Climate Equity and Disaster Relief program officer with various projects, including idea development for grantmaking strategy
Producing insights from grantmaking data leading to new ideas
Preparing emails and other correspondence as required
Reviewing and processing grant applications
Meeting with potential and existing nonprofits on behalf of GM
Researching potential nonprofit organizations that align with the fund strategy
Basic Qualifications:
Pursuit of a Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Environmental Sciences, Social Work or related field
Must be graduating between December 2023 and June 2025
Demonstrates leadership in field of study, extra-curricular activities or service organizations
Able to work full-time - 40 hours per week during the summer months
Strong commitment to the fundโs vision and values with the ability to demonstrate that commitment in daily interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work independently and with a team
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with varying levels of the organization as needed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Emerging partnership and teamwork skills and ability to learn from and share knowledge with co-workers in a fast-paced environment
Emerging presentation and speaking skills to represent GM during interactions with nonprofit organizations

This role offers the following Work Appropriately strategies:
Remote: This position does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employeeโs role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis.
The median level of the monthly salary compensation for this role is $4,250 dependent upon class status and degree. Benefit options are not available for this role.
GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to each student selected for the 2023 Student Program.

We're seeking Certified/Licensed K-12 Health Educators to provide 1:1 and group health education to students related to specific health topics, including reproductive health, substance use, diet and nutrition.
This is a 100% online, part-time, after school role, in the 5-10 hours a week range, potentially more as we grow.

This is a call center environment where you will be expected to work 100% telephonically on the computer for 8 hours per day with 2 designated 15 min breaks, a 30 min lunch, and a 15 min team meeting (Huddle). Huddles may be used for engaging with your team, reviewing updates, or completing training.
Throughout the day coaches will complete scheduled outbound coaching calls, take inbound calls from members, and attempt various cold calls related to informing members about the program and encouraging enrollment along with reaching out after a missed appointment to reschedule or complete a call at that time. Currently, our caseload is a โteamโ style where members will relate to whichever coach is available.
Receiving inbound and making outbound calls to employees of companies who have enrolled/partnered with the company for Health Coaching (50% inbound/50% outbound)
Encouraging employees to maintain healthy habits such as proper diet, tobacco reduction, proper exercise, etc.
Health coaches help employees reach their health and wellness goals
Members get points toward their accounts during this program (for reaching certain milestones/completing tasks) and can redeem these points for prizes that are available from the company they work with.
Qualifications:*
*Must have a bachelorโs degree in
Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Health Science, Food & Nutrition, Kinesiology, Psychology, etc.
*Upbeat and personable* โ supportive and motivational and likes talking to people about health and wellness
*Preferred:
1+ year in customer service M-F 10:30am - 7pm Central Time
