\nThe Center for Jewish and Israel Education at Hillel International is a team dedicated to supporting Jewish college students on a pathway toward Jewish adulthood. In line with the best practices of education and the deepest wisdom of Jewish thought, we hold ourselves to an approach that centers authentic inquiry, multivocality, and personal reflection. When we do this well, we embody an approach to Israel education that resonates with emerging adult learners and welcomes every student to meaningfully explore their relationship to Israel. \n\nThe Center for Jewish and Israel Education (CJIE) has been pioneering this work across a suite of programming and more broadly influencing the ways Israel education manifests in the Hillel movement. \n\nA core guiding principle of our work has been the Inquiry Centered Model for Israel Education. We will continue to innovate around the field of Israel Education, responding to the changing needs of campuses, professionals, and students.\n\nThe Israel Education work of the Center for Jewish and Israel Education has included: Our Masterclass: Israel (MCI) is designed to support Hillel educators toward great pedagogical and content knowledge is in its fifth cohort and has had a deep impact on the ways Israel education is deployed on campus. Following the development of MCI, we launched Kol Yisrael, a series of curricula meant to broaden the repertoire of Israel learning opportunities led by campus professionals for students. The Israel Insight Fellowship, a unique travel experience for select student leaders, has created new ways for those leaders to engage with the essential questions that Israel poses for contemporary students. Masterclass Israel Xperience (MCIX) innovated a new model of Israel educational travel in partnership with JAFI: Makom focused on exploring the tribes of Israel.  In response to the events of October 7 and the war that followed, the CJIE has pioneered immersive educational travel, the Tzofim and Sipurim trips, for Hillel professionals, supporting their personal and professional exploration of Israel, as well as the development of several curricula to support the efforts of campus educators to help students learn and process the new reality. \n\nThe Associate Director of Israel Education will support this body of work to continue the growth and impact of these various programs while also piloting and building new learning opportunities.\nWhat Youโ€™ll Do\n\nThe CJIE Associate Director of Israel Education will co-develop and oversee a series of interventions designed to increase nuanced and engaging educational programming for Hillel professionals. The Regional Director Quality and Safety Operations provides validation, coaching, guidance and support to hospital staff and leadership to drive and develop the cultures of safety, learning, and highly reliable performance aligned with the aims and key performance metrics affiliated with the National Quality Program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Responsible for serving facilities within the Lifepoint Health System in the field of Quality and Patient Safety Operations through observation, validation, and coaching, front line leaders and front-line staff members in affiliate health systems within a specific region of the organization enterprise.
  • Provide field support related to the National Quality Program (NQP) visits to provide evaluation, coaching and support for development and progress within the program.
  • Communicate information about hospital safety culture assessments for our facilities served, to include survey data review, unit level validation support, and correlations to drive improvements in teamwork and safety climate based upon data driven priorities utilizing the standard teamwork and safety culture leading practices and health system plan.
  • Present standard education, model evidence-based behaviors and facilitate simulation exercises to change processes and behaviors of affiliate health system staffs to drive high reliability, sustained quality outcome performance and achieve National Quality Program evidence-based tactics and methods associated with National Quality Program designation and US national quality excellence.
  • Serve as coach for affiliate health systems as an extension of the Quality and Clinical Operations department at the Health Support Center (HSC) to validate the implementation, development and hardwiring of LifePoint's Foundational Principles including standard communication and safety behaviors.
  • Work closely with facilities, on their National Quality Workplan to ensure progress toward goals to achieve National Quality Designation and national quality exemplar performance metrics and reputation.
  • Participate in ongoing evaluation and improvement of the tactics, tools and leading practices that support the advancement of the LifePoint National Quality Program evaluating current state and vet potential tools and tactics that contribute to effective communication in building strong cultures for unit and facility wide levels.
  • Work collaboratively with HSC Quality Clinical Operation partners to solve quality and patient safety issues at affiliate health system level and build relationships that foster collaboration across the enterprise.
  • Prepare and present educational webinars and coaching including guest faculty to highlight and spread LifePoint leading evidence-based practices.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a Associate Designer on our Professional Learning Team to play a role in the development of assets aligned to Zearnโ€™s integrated professional learning approach. You will be integral in helping to translate ideas into compelling training presentations as well as digital, print, e-blast, and other assets.
