Lucid has an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Finance Intern to join the Strategic Finance (FP&A) team. This position will be responsible for a wide range of projects including strategic analysis to support Lucidโ€™s KPIs, financial modeling, variance reporting, and ad hoc assignments. You will also be responsible for working on initiatives to improve existing FP&A processes, including automation, documentation, and streamlining of deliverables to align with best practices. The ideal candidate will have superb analytical abilities, strong skills in financial modeling, a firm understanding of finance and accounting concepts, and a desire to find solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Drive improvement of financial reporting and forecasting processes in coordination with Finance team members, Accounting team, and other departments
  • Produce analysis and tracking of strategic initiatives and key company metrics, including the development of supporting models and expected outcomes
  • Communicate financial and accounting information and trends to the management team to ensure that real-time business decisions can be made based on sound financial data
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Ad-hoc analysis as required
Requirements
  • Completing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Systems or related field
  • Interested and excited to work in a high-growth tech/software SaaS company
  • Experience in working collaboratively with a team, with strong communication skills

The Operations Supervisor uses sharp business skills to assist in end-to-end business process activities by creating, controlling, and improving business processes by assisting in process design, project implementation for improvement activities, diagnosing process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools. Primary Responsibilities
  • Manages day-to-day and production operations for a team of 30-40 medical coders
  • Develops procedures to increase departmental accuracy and efficiency through prompt identification and resolution of routine and complex production issues
  • Assesses, evaluates, and addresses daily workload and queues
  • Analyzes productivity of medical coders compares productivity to capacity plan. Identifies variances and implements proactive solutions to mitigate risk
  • Responsible for quality monitoring activities including identifying areas of improvement and plan the implementation of improvement areas
  • Functions as departmentโ€™s liaison and contact / resource person for providing client issues and problem resolutions
  • Creates competencies for coders; identifies training and development opportunities for coders
  • Incorporate feedback from operational, financial and QA reports to improve performance

Required Qualifications

Internship Focus Area:
  • Climate Equity & Disaster Relief: Climate change does not impact every community equally, and it is incumbent upon us to implement inclusive solutions that do not leave anyone behind. The GM Climate Equity Fund aims to help fund organizations that are closing the climate equity gap at the community level and across three key areas: sustainable jobs, access to sustainable transportation and community climate action.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Supporting the Climate Equity and Disaster Relief program officer with various projects, including idea development for grantmaking strategy
  • Producing insights from grantmaking data leading to new ideas
  • Preparing emails and other correspondence as required

  • Meeting with potential and existing nonprofits on behalf of GM
  • Researching potential nonprofit organizations that align with the fund strategy

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be graduating between December 2023 and June 2025
  • Demonstrates leadership in field of study, extra-curricular activities or service organizations

The median level of the monthly salary compensation for this role is $4,250 dependent upon class status and degree. Benefit options are not available for this role.

\nLocation: Remote Contractor : NL\n\nPosition Summary and Responsibilities:\n\nThe Network Services Software Developer will  be working a member of a distributed team of software developers and engineers working on developing network services software. GÉANT will continue to develop the single comprehensive circuit provisioning service refered to as "Consolidated Connection Services" (CCS) that will consolidate multiple GEANT circuit services under a single intelligent service provisioning tool. This service is based on the OpenNSA (https://github.com/NORDUnet/opennsa) software that implements the Open Glif Forum (OGF) Network Services Interface (NSI) (https://www.ogf.org/documents/GFD.212.pdf)  inter-domain service provisioning protocol. \n\nExtensive knowledge and experience of working with NSI and OpenNSA is essential for this position.   In addition to programming skills in Python and familiarity with federated identity, SQL and Github, this position will require knowledge and understanding of common network transport technologies such as IP, Ethernet, MPLS, OTN, GMPLS protocols suite, NSI, RFC4448 EoMPLS, Ethernet over GFP, and some basic familiarity with optical transport technologies.
