We would love for you to apply if you are interested in joining for the 2025 - 2026 school year and will reach out in the spring if we would like to move forward with the interview process. \n\n\nAbout\nSora is a virtual middle and high school. We have fundamentally reframed the curriculum and approach followed by traditional schools. Through a combination of synchronous learning experiences (expeditions) and individual learning options (activities and independent study) students chart their own path through middle and high school. \n\n\nOur faculty lead expeditions and support student individual learning by serving as a guide and coach for our students: sparking their interests, creativity, and self-driven learning. The content of expeditions is rooted in our educational philosophy (more here!) but may be adapted to your own interests and the interests of our students. Youโ€™ll explore topical questions to help them work through their projects. One moment a student may be asking about the American Civil War and the next someone needs help with Nietzschean Philosophy. One moment a student may be asking about rocketry, and the next someone needs help with an app to address the effects of climate change. You help students think broadly and delve deeply, teaching students about your subject areas as well as areas beyond your expertise.\n\n\nAs an essential aspect of being a community of learners, experts also serve as house advisorsโ€“serving as a trusted point of contact for a group of Sora students as they explore the program and structure their Sora journey. Students often work with advisors to consider what they might want to learn next, and figure out how to overcome roadblocks.\n\n\nYou will help to build our model too: weโ€™re a unique school and a start up. We look for people excited by this. Youโ€™ll have the opportunity to push our educational model, student experience, and company forward by participating in cross-team, department, and functional projects. You will have the chance to design learning experiences and to make the ones we have even better. Whether youโ€™re interested in curriculum development, creating vibrant and engaging remote experiences, or how to run a startup, youโ€™ll have the opportunity to contribute and learn.\n\n\nSalary \nThe starting salary for full-time roles for US based candidates have an annual salary of $60,000 - $69,000/year, based on experience, plus a generous benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, a retirement plan with company matching, stock options, and generous Paid Time Off. These services are used to highlight key trends and insights across podcasts, web, mobile apps and social media.  These datasets are used to extract insights from complex media usage in order to inform stakeholders both at NPR and at Member Stations across the country. \n\nAs a senior software engineer on our team, you will be met with exciting challenges to iterate on existing systems and build new datasets, dashboards and pipelines for analyzing trends in audience engagement.\n\nIn addition, the team is responsible for core backend APIs and other services that are responsible for podcast distribution, as well as content delivery for the NPR.org homepage,  topic stories, and local and national newscasts.  Our stakeholders range from local member stations around the country to key business stakeholders inside of NPR. About The Opportunity


The Principal Service Consultant guides the overall design and delivery of the Ceridian HCM solution to meet customer requirements and provides oversight and direction to project team members in the execution of project activities in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (planning, discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support). The Principal Service Consultant works closely with the Project Manager to plan the project and identify critical dependencies. Project responsibilities include; facilitation of customer requirements gathering, design of the Ceridian solution to meet documented customer requirements, setting and managing customer expectations, providing guidance and design/configuration oversight to other project resources, identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager.

Provide Implementation Services to customers:


  • Support the project team in the validation of customer's business requirements and mapping to Ceridian functionality
  • Design and document innovative solutions to solve customersโ€™ business needs
  • Guide the configuration of the Ceridian application to meet customerโ€™s business requirements
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) on strategic implementations
  • Lead internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables


Contribute to Internal Implementation Initiatives:


  • Design and document solutions and contribute to a solutions repository

  • Lead the subject matter expert (SME) program in at least one area of expertise (Payroll, Benefits, WFM)

Lucid has an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Finance Intern to join the Strategic Finance (FP&A) team. Internship Focus Area:

The GM Climate Equity Fund aims to help fund organizations that are closing the climate equity gap at the community level and across three key areas: sustainable jobs, access to sustainable transportation and community climate action.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Supporting the Climate Equity and Disaster Relief program officer with various projects, including idea development for grantmaking strategy
  • Producing insights from grantmaking data leading to new ideas

Remote European Supply Chain Manager

As our European Supply Chain Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead the supply chain efforts for our European branches. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by providing KPIโ€™s back to the business leaders on their supply chain needs, including cost improvement metrics. In the role, you will be reporting to a US leader.


So, what will you be doing as our European Supply Chain Manager?

  • Collaborate with L&P branches, Logistics offices and European service providers to execute shipments as required.
  • Develop an understanding and maintain documentation of L&P Branches / Suppliers and customers needs for shipping intra Europe and Internationally, including road freight, ocean freight, air freight, consolidation and deconsolidation needs and develop SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures) to ensure that such needs are met.
  • Maintain and develop positive business relationships with internal branchโ€™s key personnel involved in or directly relevant to Logistics activities.
  • Monitor performance of key external service providers. Communicate to management service failures and help develop action plans to correct for future shipments. Monitor implementation of process improvements.
  • Identify, evaluate & implement opportunities to leverage L&P volumes with current service providers utilizing multiple business units.
  • Coordinate project analysis, bids, etc. for existing business units with existing or potential service providers.
  • Assist with new service provider set ups through SOPโ€™s and required service provider documents.
  • Collaborate with Business unit Purchasing & Sales departments and Logistics offices as necessary to meet customer requirements
  • Develop & Incorporate KPIโ€™s to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement with freight forwarders, ocean carriers against benchmarks and service agreements to improve support for our business units. Report findings along with suggested improvement solutions on a quarterly basis.
  • Provide feedback updates regarding market details for air, ocean and intra Europe trucking to management & Business Units.
  • Work with Logistics systems, Accounting & other Logistics offices to ensure visibility & financial data integrity of shipments.
  • Report cost savings / cost avoidance opportunities to management.


To be successful in this role, youโ€™ll need:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Management, Operations Management, or related field, or suitable combination of education and training
  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience in the transportation and logistics industry, including 2+ years in a management role
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite applications.
  • Excellent organization skills, proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • You can read, write and speak English fluently.

Things we consider a plus:

  • 3-4 yearsโ€™ experience working directly with/for Freight Forwarders to support ocean & air shipments
  • Experience within a fast-paced Automotive industry, with the supply chain and inventory business objectives
