About The Opportunity
The Principal Service Consultant guides the overall design and delivery of the Ceridian HCM solution to meet customer requirements and provides oversight and direction to project team members in the execution of project activities in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (planning, discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support). The Principal Service Consultant works closely with the Project Manager to plan the project and identify critical dependencies. Project responsibilities include; facilitation of customer requirements gathering, design of the Ceridian solution to meet documented customer requirements, setting and managing customer expectations, providing guidance and design/configuration oversight to other project resources, identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager.

Overview
Applied Pharmacometrics Training Fellowship –Africa Region
The Applied Pharmacometrics Training Fellowship – Africa Region is a collaboration between Certara, Pharmacometrics Africa, CP+ Associates, together with several pharma industry and academic partners, to provide an intensive fellowship program for talented and motivated doctoral level scientists from Africa.
The program has 2 components:
Virtual Program – A 3-month virtual program (Q1 2023) that will provide fellows with exposure to leading edge pharmacometric model based analysis. The time commitment will be significant (e.g. a minimum of 20 hours per week over the duration of the Virtual Program.
Immersion Program – Upon completion of the Virtual Program, fellows will have the option to extend the program for another 3 months to an project-based program led by Certara and partners from pharma and academia. The program is designed to foster professional development through immersive training on all competencies required for regulatory quality pharmacometrics analyses and reports. Guided by industry mentors, the fellows will receive class-room training, are assigned individual jointly-agreed upon, precompetitive projects and participate in a leadership development program designed to enhance their decision-making and communication skills.
The Applied Pharmacometrics Training Fellowship – Africa Region aims to build scientific and leadership capability in Africa by enhancing the skills of local scientists and by facilitating knowledge transfer to their wider scientific communities. The relationships forged between the hosts of this program and the fellows' home institutions will further the endeavour to create next-generation medicines to ease suffering and improve quality of life for patient populations around the world. Successful participants in this program will be considered as candidates to join the consulting team for Certara located on-site in Africa.

For the participants who are selected into the Immersion Program the program sponsors will provide :

Stipend and health insurance: health insurance and a monthly stipend to cover incidentals and basic living expenses.
Timelines & Location: The 3-month Virtual Program is planned to start in mid-January 2023. The start of the 3-month Immersion Program is planned for 2Q2023.

CP+ Associates was established in 2017 as a social venture that develops scientific capability in low and middle income countries (LMIC), focussing on healthcare via drug discovery, development science and clinical trials.

Qualifications
Eligibility to this program is based on the following criteria:
You have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g. pharmaceutical, medical or biological sciences, applied mathematics or statistics)
You have recently completed your PhD or equivalent studies (i.e. early to mid-career)
You should already have done at least 1 clinical pharmacology or pharmacometrics data analysis project using descriptive or a model-based methods
You have evidence of completing relevant courses on model-based analysis methods e.g. Pharmacometrics Africa courses or equivalent
You are a proficient English speaker and based in an African country
You have demonstrated strong team player skills

Job Description
The Study Director reports to the VP of Lithium Development Projects and is responsible for planning, tracking, reporting, monitoring, and task assigning and self-performance of project activities assuring that the overall project study requirements are met in accordance with the Albemarle project study framework.
Key Job Responsibilities
Formulate a project study deliverables plan
Assign required internal and external resources to the study plan
Management of project resources through the study cycle, coordination and administration, utilizing the Albemarle standards specific to the phase of the project
Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments to track progress to plan and provide accurate progress updates to Albemarle Management, in specific earnt value of work completed and forecasted, forecasted future financial outflows for financial year planning
Compile regular (monthly, quarterly, yearly) progress reports and portfolio updates as may be required by the Albemarle project management office and finance department
Set in place the formulation of the key building blocks of a project study in accordance with the specific study phase criteria contained in the Albemarle APP to support an investment case.
The key items specifically of focus for the study manager to assemble, coordinate or create include:

The alternatives considered to produce an investment case
The technical solutions or technologies available in support of the proposed alternatives
Business risk assessment of the alternatives and project scope

BaseCase is looking for a talented individual with a background in health economics to join our team as a Consultant. In this position, you play a key role in the process of producing interactive value communication tools (‘apps’) for pharmaceutical and medical device clients. You will review existing economic models and implement structural improvements, as well as reviewing other value communication materials, such as value dossiers, to develop summaries of key value messages that can be presented in an engaging manner.
The tools you create will be used to communicate HEOR evidence to decision makers and payers at various levels, and contribute to the successful market access and market adoption of our client’s products. Value communication is a fast-growing field that is creating many career opportunities. As a Consultant at BaseCase, you’ll be working at the fascinating interface between the health economics discipline and the realities of presenting novel products to decision makers who operate under increasing economic pressure.
Responsibilities
Reviewing and improving budget impact, cost-effectiveness and data driven models
Creating appropriate visualizations of economic data
Assisting in the design and implementation of user-friendly apps using BaseCase technology
Supporting the software development team with usability reports and bug reports What you bring to BaseCase
You have a university degree in public health, pharmacoeconomics, health economics, or a related discipline.
You have excellent communications skills and are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
You have advanced skills working with modeling software, in particular MS Excel and R.
You have a profound understanding of health economic modeling methodologies.
You have the ability to evaluate health outcomes materials (value dossiers, scientific literature, etc.)
You have excellent computer skills (including the MS Office suite of applications).
You have energy, a great work attitude and fit well with our team. We enjoy what we do, and we’re looking for the right people to join us.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, Training, and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree (preferred in relevant scientific field: economics, health policy, epidemiology, etc.)
Advanced degree in relevant field preferred (e.g. MS, MPH, MBA, MD)
Skills & Abilities:
Has strong analytical and written/oral communication skills
Is a proficient and collaborative project coordinator who provides technical advice and solutions to meet client requirements
Is highly flexible and comfortable with ambiguity
Proactively enables process and change improvements
Has advanced industry knowledge and business acumen in at least one focus area and demonstrates consistent maturity/professionalism
