(The hiring offer will be a mix of salary + equity.)\n\n**Contracting**\n\n- $40-60/hour\n- 4 weeks\n- ~20hrs/week\n\nโ **Hiring offer**\n\n- 2% equity for the founding engineer (negotiable)\n- Baseย salary (excl.ย equity) will be **USD ~65k** until Series A, after which thereโll be a pay raise\n\n# Mission\n\nOur mission is to take the work out of scheduling while avoiding scheduling links (ร la calendly).\n\n**80% of meetings are scheduled manually via e-mail or phone.** The reality is that scheduling links donโt work for most of the meetings because of the costs to social capital.\n\n* When someone sends you a calendly link and asks you to slot yourself on their calendar, they are telling you that you are less important than them. It is a โget in lineโ move.\n* In practice, recipients will often not click on your calendly.\n\nThese aspects make **scheduling links de-facto useless** for the vast majority of the workforce. Imagine:\n\n* A Sales Development Representative reaching out to a prospective client that heโs never talked to.\n* An architect trying to set up a first consultation with new homeowners.\n* A head hunter setting up a confidential meeting for a senior executive position at a corporate company.\n\nThe reality is that setting up a meeting is a nuanced dance of social capital to match the importance and urgency between two parties. And this is currently a very manual process.\n\n**We are looking for a Founding Engineer to join our founders and build a software tool that solves that manual process.**ย \n\n# Why join\n\n**Join a company thatโs going from 0 โ 10k MRR.** Our MVP grew all organic. Now, weโre ready to go for revenue now and make that grow.\n\n**Full focus on building.** Fundraising, Marketing & Customer Support will all be taken care of by the other founders. Youโll be able to focus on building.\n\n**Founder competencies.** Richard is a self-taught developer working as a software engineer now and Philipp majored in engineering. However, both founders have a background in growth and transfer the skills to the business side of things.\n\n**Reduced risk.** While youโll get potentially life-changing equity in the company, weโve already secured enough money to pay you a salary.\n\n# What you'll do (responsibilities)\n\n**Make most of our technical decisions.**ย We want to rewrite our MVP from scratch, which leaves a complete greenfield for you.\n\n**Co-own the product.**ย We will remain a team of 3 for a while, which means we agree on some features to build and from there itโs you implementing them from start to finish together with one or two other engineers.\n\n**Build for interesting platforms.**ย Bring your full creativity to solve technical problems to serve a web app, a browser extension and an outlook add-in. All with shiny new technologies โจ\n\n# What we're looking for (qualifications)\n\nWe donโt care about CVs. We are looking for smart, driven people who are eager to have an impact.\n\n**Your Stack.** Typescript, Prisma, React, etc. in a monorepo. You should have extensive experience with each of those tools.\n\n**A product builder at heart.**ย You like the idea of implementing your own ideas from A-Z. We expect you to have a knack for great โจUX and have built & launched products from scratch in the past.\n\n**Good heart.**ย We don't tolerate jerks and are generally just friendly people.\n \n\nPlease mention the word **IMPROVEMENT** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4xMzY=). **Join the HappyPorch team**\n\nPassionate about coding? Looking for a flexible, remote role where you are part of an enthusiastic and committed team?\n\nWe are looking for a .Net web developer to join our distributed team. This is a permanent position and full-time position.\n\n## About Us\n\nWe collaborate, explore, discover and invent alongside our clients, building applications that enable them to thrive, develop new approaches, and play their part in creating a better world. We provide development expertise to create the best, most equitable, solutions possible, delivered with honesty, integrity, and transparency. We focus on our clientsโ purpose and the impact they are aiming to have, not on our own egos or trendy technology for its own sake. We do all of this with passion, joy, and a spirit of fun.\n\nOur commitment to value beyond profit is more than just talk. HappyPorch is a Certified B Corporation and are members of 1% for the Planet. We have been a remote-first team since the company was founded in 2015. We are a distributed team of specialist web developers who value, support, and mentor each other. While we do work hard, we also acknowledge that a healthy, balanced life is a requirement, not an optional extra.\n\n## The Role\n\nYou will be an important member of our distributed development team. You will be working extremely closely with our amazing, long-term clients and be involved in all aspects of projects including requirements gathering, contributing to architectural decisions, planning and prioritisation, and throughout the development process.\n\nYou will be working remotely as part of a small team of 10 spread across Scotland, England, several other countries across Europe and beyond. Working on a distributed team takes a high level of motivation and the ability to self-manage. You will also be communicating with clients directly. This requires excellent written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally with both technical and non-technical people.\n\n## You\n\n* Are keen to take responsibility and use your experience, ideas, and energy to help drive success\n* Enjoy solving problems and are constantly looking to learn and improve\n* Are willing to be measured by your output and the value you bring, not the hours you log\n* Are outstanding at communicating both verbally and in written English (and more than tech-speak!)\n* Are detail-oriented and meticulous about quality\n* Understand how important a good, disciplined process is; in software development as well as communication and project management\n\nThe ideal person will bring the correct mindset, ability to learn and adapt along with as wide a range of technical experience as possible, we, therefore, encourage applications from the right candidates regardless of age, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief or race.\n\nPlease find more information on how we are working to become a [more diverse team](http://happyporch.com/diversity-where-we-are-and-were-wed-like-to-be/) here and [most recently here](https://www.happyporch.com/articles/posts/2020/november/diversity-and-equality-at-happyporch-in-2020/).\n\n## Technology\n\nYou need to:\n\n* Have good experience of web development\n* Be experienced in C# and ASP.NET\n* Be comfortable using GIT\n\nExperience of any of the following would also be an advantage: .Net Core, API development, Actor Model (e.g. Akka), Domain-Driven Design, unit and integration testing, or Azure Cloud. Although the experience of these is definitely not required, an interest in learning is.\n\n## Whatโs in it for you?\n\n**Impact**\n\nYou will bring your experience, ideas, and energy to the role. As part of a small, fun team you will be much more than just another cog in the wheel. There is a huge opportunity to further develop your technical & leadership skills.\n\n**Purpose**\n\nA key part of our purpose is to contribute in a positive way to the world around us. Our commitment to value beyond profit is more than just talk, for example, we are a Certified B Corporation and are members of 1% for the Planet. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our โpro-bonoโ projects that have societal value. This might include open source development, charity projects, or training and assisting other organisations. A great example is our work with PovNet.\n\n**Transparency**\n\nWe run on self-management principles. This does not mean a completely flat hierarchy, any group of humans will have leaders. It does mean that we all input into how the company is run and everyone is invited to get involved and take on the level of responsibility that suits each of us. It also means that leadership is much more fluid than in a traditional company hierarchy.\n\nWe provide a lot of support and coaching to help you thrive in this environment and thus do great work. Although it can be challenging, it is incredibly rewarding to be part of.\n\n**Location & Hours**\n\nThis role is remote, much of the time you can work from anywhere โ well almost โ anywhere within 2 hours of the UK timezone. We are more interested in results than micromanaging which means we are very happy to talk about flexibility in your working hours. Some of our team enjoy a very structured day, others flex their work around family commitments.\n\nTwice each year (outside global pandemics) we meet up to work together for a few days. Recent locations have included England, Morocco, Madeira, Bulgaria, and Scotland. As well as being really useful it is a lot of fun, so we do all we can to help everyone join where it is possible.\n\n*HappyPorch asks respectfully to only apply through the application form and do not email/apply directly to HappyPorch. Any applications sent directly to HappyPorch will not be considered. Recruiters and Agencies please do not contact HappyPorch directly.* \n\nPlease mention the word **INTERESTING** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4xMzY=). # How do you apply?\n\nThis job post has been closed by the poster, which means they probably have enough applicants now. Please do not apply.
**Remote Full Stack Developer for Likvido (C#/.NET 5/VueJS/Kubernetes/Azure)**\n\nHello there! Are you ready for a really ambitious position as a full stack .NET developer?\n\nAnd yes, the role is fully remote so you can do your job wherever you want; from the beach, the pyramids, even from the moon if you like (well, of course you need to have an internet connection).\n\nLikvido is a (very) fast-growing startup. We are around 60 employees now, and we are aiming for a series A funding to realize our huuuuge ambitions for the coming years. \n\nWe are now looking for a skilled full stack .NET developer that can impact our products and become a part of our remote tech Likvido family.\n\n\n**Letโs be polite and introduce ourselves first - so who are we and what are we doing?**\n\nLet's face it: accounting sucks. Entering data into a stupid system? Sending invoices? Trying to get the last decimals to match so your auditor doesnโt scream at you?\n\nWe would prefer spending time with family or friends. The same goes for our customers.\n\nAt Likvido we are automating accounting for our customers. We do this by having a super awesome product that helps you:\n* Send โsmart invoicesโ that reconcile themselves \n* Send automatic reminders for invoices that go unpaid\n* Pay your bills in Likvido so you donโt have to go to your bank (and the bills of course reconcile themselves)\n* Automatically scan all your receipts and bills so you donโt have to enter data again\n* Get paid if an invoice has not been paid on time through our debt collection system\n* If you really hate accounting, we also have an accountant service where our accountants take care of everything for a small price.\n\nSo to summarize what Likvido is doing:\n\nWe are letting you focus on what matters, instead of spending time on boring administrative work.\n\n\n**Tech stack**\nOur main application is a web application, where our customers can interact with the product. This web application consists of a VueJS frontend and an API - using the Backend For Frontend (BFF) approach. This means we are evolving the frontend and API in a symbiosis, where the API requests are tailored to the exact use-cases of the frontend. The styling of the frontend is a custommade look built with Sass and designed by our in-house UX/UI designer in cooperation with Studio Skulptur: https://www.studioskulptur.com/likvido. \n\nThe API is running on .NET 5 and written in C#, but we also have a legacy ASP.NET MVC application running on old .NET framework - which we are in the process of getting rid of.\n\nWe run all of our services in Microsoft Azure. The most recent services are running on AKS (Azure Kubernetes Services), and the legacy services are running on App Service. Our goal is to move everything to AKS. All of our source code is hosted on Github and we use Github Actions to deploy our services to AKS. We deploy to production at least once per day.\n\nWe use SQL Server and Azure Blobs for our data storage needs. We might introduce MongoDB or CosmosDB for specific use cases, as we are generally very open to adopting new technologies, whenever they provide some nice improvements over our current stack. \nOur general architecture is to build bounded contexts, with a number of services and databases inside each context. The services are small and scalable, and we use both queues, event grids and HTTP APIs for communicating between services.\n\nYou will join our current team, consisting of 9 developers, both frontend and full stack developers, plus a product team with UX/UI designers and product managers. We expect you to participate in the whole product workflow - from idea to production. You will help build new features, do code reviews, make releases, and make sure your features work and continue to work in production. You will also help us push forward our technical stack and infrastructure, to improve the performance, availability and scalability of our products.\n\n\n**Responsibilities**\n\nBeing a Full Stack Developer at Likvido, your job is to improve our product and build great technical solutions!\n\nDay-to-day that means:\n* Implement new features (C# + JavaScript)\n* Help maintain our current products\n* Actively participate in team meetings, discussing product feature improvements as well as technical issues and improvements\n* Make code-reviews and be responsible for the features you build\n* Help push forward our platform and codebase, to make sure it is easy to maintain and performs well\n\nYou will also participate in the development process like your other colleagues, which means maintaining the current codebase, adding new features, doing code reviews etc. We are moving towards forming small autonomous teams, with a very high level of ownership and influence over the product and the technologies. This environment provides a lot of freedom for the teams to take control over their work, and let their creativity unfold.\n\n\n**Requirements**\n\nWe are looking for someone who can say โYES!โ to the following:\n* I am a senior full stack developer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.\n* I put great pride in my work, and I like to solve challenging problems in ways that will make maintenance easy.\n* I enjoy following the technology trends and consider how they can be used to solve the problems we face.\n* I have strong opinions, but I understand and respect the opinions of others as well, and I will seek to resolve conflicts in a productive manner.\n* I have multiple years of experience with\nC#\nModern .NET stack (.Net Core, .NET 5)\nJavaScript (VueJS and TypeScript is a bonus)\nGit\nMSSQL\n\nSo without further ado: If you consider yourself a top full stack developer, and feel like having a very ambitious role is the next step in your career - APPLY!\n\n\n**Practicalities**\n* You will work 100% remote along with our existing team\n* We work within CET office hours but are flexible to accommodate other schedules\n* We pay a good salary\n* We expect you to be fluent in English\n* The position is full-time\n* You manager will be operating from Denmark\n\n\n**Location**\n๐ Worldwide\n \n\nPlease mention the words **THEN PRINT ORCHARD** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4xMzY=). \nSourceAudio is looking for an experienced full stack developer to help with the development of our primary application, a single page, ajax-driven, music licensing and distribution website. You'll be creating new pages and updating existing ones by creating new tables and queries in MySQL, reading, writing, and organizing data in PHP7, and then manipulating and displaying said data in JavaScript, using jQuery and CSS.\n\nSourceAudio is a white-label application for searching, managing, and licensing music. All our clients are using the same application, but it can be heavily customized regarding logos, colors, and page design to match their brand and intended use.\n\nHere are a few examples of our clients' branded version of our website:\n\n\n* https://audio.alibimusiclibrary.com\n\n* https://download.prosoundeffects.com\n\n* https://methodicdoubt.sourceaudio.com\n\n\n\n\nAs an industry leader, we've tackled a number of complex challenges, including:\n\n\n* Designing and deploying a nationwide Node.js based TV monitoring network to look for watermarked audio clips as they're used in real time.\n\n* Writing a program in C that takes an audio file and builds a JSON representation of its waveform so we can display it on a canvas.\n\n* Inventing a new way to compare audio files for similarities based on their acoustic qualities.\n\n* Creating a custom metadata injection system for AIFFs and WAVs and then figuring out how to send them as .zip files on the fly so the end user gets an accurate Content-Length without creating the zip beforehand.\n\n\n\n\nThere's a lot of regular LAMP+JS development and that's primarily what you'll be doing on a day to day basis but we need someone who will excel at the regular work and then dive deep into something more involved when it comes up.\n\nThis is not an entry-level position. We have a large number of interacting systems and we need someone who can hit the ground running. You'll routinely be working on complex, mission critical projects with minimal oversight. If you read this far, please use the word stupendous in your cover letter. It's a small team and we count on everyone to pull their weight.\n\nThis is a full-time remote position and the ideal candidate will have experience getting things done in that environment. Our primary developers currently reside in Atlanta, GA, Boulder, CO, and Los Angeles, CA. If you're in one of those areas and could meet from time to time, that'd be great, but it's not a requirement. We want to find the best person for the job, wherever you are, whatever color you are, and however else you identify. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
