What is the job?
Crypto currency and decentralized finance (DeFi) are disruptive, visible, and rapidly growing areas of finance. We’re looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our security team, and tackle the unique security challenges our industry faces.
In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Cyber Security, supporting all areas of the business. Good security data drives informed business decisions, and this role is critical in delivering the actionable security data we need.

Ongoing management and configuration of security tooling.

What do you need?
We have no formal education or certification requirements - the quality of your past work and skills will speak for itself.
You will need to have excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills – be prepared to show these off in the interview.
Evidence of ongoing work within the security ecosystem (e.g. GitHub projects, involvement in open source projects, or security research).
Good English verbal communication skills.

Willingness and enthusiasm to learn, thrive and adapt in the fast-paced crypto services arena we operate within.
Ideally you will have operational experience with Google Workspaces, AWS, and a SIEM solution.
Solid understanding of the risks and threats SaaS and Cloud based services face – and how to deal with them.
You’ll need to demonstrate familiarity with MDM solutions, and understand security issues around end user devices like laptops and mobile phones, for a remote workforce.
Nice to haves:
Prior experience in FinTech and/or crypto is highly desirable – be prepared to explain how crypto currencies work, and the common security challenges.
Experience with Palo Alto products and technologies is an advantage.
Familiarity with encryption techniques and distributed teams, and a keen understanding of cryptocurrency, are distinct advantages.

What is the job?
As an SDET at Radix, you will apply your boundless cunning to break distributed systems in new and interesting ways. You will study and emulate known attacks, and then concoct some new ones. You will make sure that happy path scenarios function as advertised, and that a massive array of potential error conditions all fail gracefully, predictably, and in a recoverable fashion.
During your first few months, your focus will be on creating automated tests verifying predictable pre- and post-conditions against a distributed, trustless system while coming up to speed on how the network operates and where the limitations are. With that understanding under your belt, you’ll start in on chaos testing and acting as a knowledgeable, malicious actor on our test networks.
Of course, you’ll also be contributing to test plans, highlighting gaps in coverage, creating regression tests to ensure fixed bugs stay fixed, and all the usual responsibilities of a test role. About You
Whenever you look at a specification or an API, your mind goes straight to the edge cases.
You’re a flexible coder and are confident in your ability to learn “enough to be dangerous” if you need to pick up a new language or tool.
If asked about a familiar product or system, you have no trouble describing the various sub-systems that contribute to its overall function.
You don’t get easily frustrated when trying to nail down difficult-to-reproduce issues. You are able to methodically narrow a bug investigation down to the critical elements.
You’re intelligent and you pick up new concepts quickly. A lot of what we do here is rolling back the boundaries of known space, and there’s no playbook to refer to.
What skills do you need?
At least 3 years in a quality assurance or development role for production software.
Experience building test automation frameworks. Can write such code from scratch.
Can integrate tests in CI, e.g., Jenkins.
Experience with load testing.
Familiarity with JVM languages, JavaScript, or Python.
Understanding or experience with BDD, TDD, or contract testing.
Docker and AWS experience is important.

What is the job?
As a DevOps Engineer at RDX Works, you will lovingly maintain our (your!) virtual infrastructure, while supporting the needs of our different stakeholders, which range from a collection of community node runners to developers and SDETs.
You will begin in familiar territory, performing care and feeding for dozens of virtual machines and Kubernetes clusters while gathering performance data and tuning for the CPU/memory/disk sweet spot which best balances performance and cost.
You’ll participate in the continuous improvement of our current monitoring and alerting system, so that we know when things are going awry and can take action.
After you have a handle on how to keep things running smoothly, as part of the DevOps team you will engage with members of the different developer teams and node runners, always devising best practises for running Radix nodes and other RDX applications on a variety of cloud platforms.
You will participate in our on-call rotation process, to ensure that someone from RDX is always available to investigate a disruption in service. You will respond to alerts and track them to resolution, while learning from incidents and feed suggestions back to our internal DevOps, SDET, and developer teams and improving our internal operational rulebook.
What are we looking for?
You have maintained production systems on virtual infrastructure, and you possess a healthy collection of war stories from past disasters.
You have a wealth of knowledge about Docker which you never get to use at parties.
You’re handy with an assortment of scripting languages, ideally Python or Bash.
You have a deep-seated need to automate things. The idea of doing a repeatable process manually is abhorrent to you.
You’re patient when dealing with others. You’re a good listener, and happy to be a teacher when needed.

Has a minimum of 2-3 years work experience with a medium size company or a startup.\n\n* Has work experience with distributed algorithms. Prior experience with blockchain clients such as Go-Ethereum, Bitcoin Core, Tendermint or similar is a huge plus.\n\n* Has a strong interest to understand blockchain network code bases in depth. Is able to design requirements from network nodes, point out codebase issues and field technical questions from team members.\n\n* Possesses either Bachelor or advanced degrees in Computer Science or allied fields.\n\n* Is skilled with the Go language.
