What is the job?ย
Crypto currency and decentralized finance (DeFi) are disruptive, visible, and rapidly growing areas of finance. Weโre looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our security team, and tackle the unique security challenges our industry faces.
In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Cyber Security, supporting all areas of the business. Good security data drives informed business decisions, and this role is critical in delivering the actionable security data we need.ย
Weโre a small organisation thatโs growing fast, within a high-risk industry that faces regulatory challenges: weโre looking for people who want the fast rate of change and complexity that comes with this territory. Facing capable and sophisticated threats, we need innovative open-minded people to help us deal with them.
What are we looking for?ย
You will enjoy working in an ambitious, fast-paced environment that requires critical and strategic thinking, and a willingness to collaborate to create highly visible work across multiple channels.
Working directly with the Head of Cyber Security, you will take visible ownership of security solutions and activities across the entire company, including:
Day to day security operations โ monitoring and responding to security alerts and events.
Supporting the security team with new research, analysis, and programmes of change within the company.
Configure and manage security tooling used to protect company data, assets, and people.
Ongoing management and configuration of security tooling.
Support the devops team, and the wider business, with their security problems and questions.
Youโll be identifying new security trends, in both attack and defence, and be responsible for leading appropriate responses.
What do you need?
We have no formal education or certification requirements - the quality of your past work and skills will speak for itself.
You will need to have excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills โ be prepared to show these off in the interview.
Evidence of ongoing work within the security ecosystem (e.g. GitHub projects, involvement in open source projects, or security research).
Good English verbal communication skills.
Assertive, passionate and not afraid to challenge conventions โ strong opinions, loosely held.
Willingness and enthusiasm to learn, thrive and adapt in the fast-paced crypto services arena we operate within.ย
Ideally you will have operational experience with Google Workspaces, AWS, and a SIEM solution.
Solid understanding of the risks and threats SaaS and Cloud based services face โ and how to deal with them.
Youโll need to demonstrate familiarity with MDM solutions, and understand security issues around end user devices like laptops and mobile phones, for a remote workforce.
Nice to haves:ย
Prior experience in FinTech and/or crypto is highly desirable โ be prepared to explain how crypto currencies work, and the common security challenges.
Experience with Palo Alto products and technologies is an advantage.
Familiarity with encryption techniques and distributed teams, and a keen understanding of cryptocurrency, are distinct advantages.
Who are we?ย
At RDX Works (formally Radix DLT), we're a team of like-minded thinkers who have long been convinced that we're living in the earliest stages of a global financial revolution. This revolution is being fuelled by decentralized finance (or DeFi for short), which is enabling an assortment of pioneering developers and entrepreneurs to re-invent almost every financial product that is currently traded and invested in traditional markets, without requiring central authorities or siloed infrastructure. DeFi has captured a great deal of attention and investment in the crypto-aware niche, growing assets under management from $1 billion to $40 billion in less than a year. Impressive as its growth has been, its current market size isn't even a rounding error on the over $111 trillion held in traditional finance. We're focused on what it will take to go from billions to trillions.
RDX went back to first principles to come up with the right technical solutionโthe first layer-one protocol built specifically for mainstream DeFiโand we have already tested out at over 1 million transactions per second. We're keenly aware that the need for an infinitely scalable platform is only one prerequisite among many for mass adoption, and we're also blazing new ground in the areas of purpose-built developer tools, user experiences, and regulatory integration.
We have forged a path deep into the future of what distributed ledger technology is going to look like and we need you to come and be part of the team that is making that happen right now.
Alternatively, if you feel like you donโt match all of the requirements, we would love you to still apply anyway. We understand that confidence gaps and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting incredible candidates and we wouldnโt want this to prevent us from meeting you; especially as we are big advocates of helping people learn & grow.

Solidity Developer Role district0x is a global organization developing the next generation of decentralized applications (dApps). Built using Ethereum, Snapshot, and IPFS, district0x is a network of marketplace dApps known as districts. Our mission is to decentralize the ownership structure of the world's marketplace by providing a platform for the creation, operation, and governance of peer-to-peer marketplaces.
Summary of Position: The district0x tech stack is driven in the backend by smart contracts developed in Solidity and deployed to the Ethereum blockchain, and in the front end by Clojurescript, React, and Re-frame served via the Interplanetary File System and a Clojure server linked via GraphQL.
As a Solidity Developer, your primary goal is to build front end interfaces for new districts and extend libraries to serve user-made districts. The secondary goal is to create new and secure services written in Solidity, and develop automated test cases for these services. Solidity Developers should work independently when building, but must collaborate with other developers in order to check each other's work and maintain the highest standards of code quality. A great Solidity Developer will go above and beyond by building new and unique user experiences, and automating any routines for the business at large.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Establish a clean and efficient development, test, and production environment.
Deliver secure, high quality smart contracts in Solidity.
Write and implement test suites covering the full range of code functionality.
Collaborate with the team to define architecture, quality standards, and best practices.
Diligently document all aspects of open-source contributions.
Create unique solutions to dApp-specific user experience challenges.
Build cutting-edge scalability solutions for the Ethereum network.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
2+ years of experience developing in Solidity or in Web3 - you MUST be able to demonstrate this with public repositories or contracts. No other applications will be considered.
Working knowledge of scalability solutions, including zk-sync, optimistic rollups, or sharding.
A passion for cryptocurrencies and other peer-to-peer technologies

๐ Please reference you found the job on Remote OK, this helps us get more companies to post here, thanks!
When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy equipment which they then pay you back for later. Also never pay for trainings you have to do. Those are scams! NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Posts that link to pages with "how to work online" are also scams. Don't use them or pay for them. Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. A good idea is to check the domain name for the site/email and see if it's the actual company's main domain name. Scams in remote work are rampant, be careful! Read more to avoid scams.
