Remote Student Success Manager Atlanta
\nThis position will support our partner, Georgia Tech.\n\nPreferred candidate location: Atlanta, GA - however this position is open to remote candidates outside of the Atlanta area.\n\nAnticipated working hours: Monday - Thursday 10:00am - 8:00pm Eastern Time; Saturdays (2 per month, average of 4 hour work day)\n\nWhat Weโre Looking For:\nA highly driven and passionate Student Success Manager to oversee all day-to-day activities and operations related to your assigned cohorts, classes, and/or market(s). Including oversight of instructional staff, and operations including classroom experience, learner outcomes, and cultivating a network within the University and the company sponsoring the program. We are looking for someone who can balance the administrative needs of the job with the relational dynamics of learner support. The goal is to keep learners & instructors SUPPORTED & ensure theyโre successful.\nResponsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:\n\n\nCreate a classroom experience that energizes learners and keeps them engaged.\n\nUtilize data in SalesForce and other reporting tools to assess classroom satisfaction and provide feedback and solutions.\n\nManage classroom reservations, instructional staff, and operational logistics. \n\nAssist learners in pursuing new career opportunities, work with Career Services to help learners become employer competitive\n\nDevelop positive working relationships with University contacts, working closely with University Relations to develop and grow the program.\n\nDeliver outstanding events, work with the Industry Engagement Team to co-host in-person Demo Days and Virtual Tech Talks\n\nCommunicate system or process changes within the company and new approaches to student support and classroom management.\n\n\n\nThe Student Success Manager owns these metrics in the following ways:\n\n\n\n\nStudent Experience โ The best marketing will always be referrals from our Alumni network. Our goal is to create a transformative learning experience that learners will always fondly remember. The Boot Camp is by its nature an extremely challenging program. You will create โmagic momentsโ within the program that celebrates your learnersโ success along the way.\n\n\n\n\nInstructional Management - Youโll be responsible for managing instructional staff. Your ability to empower these individuals to own their classroom, create a dynamic learning environment, engage in meaningful connections with learners and skillfully present complex curriculum will undoubtedly contribute positively to the Learner Experience. You will provide weekly feedback from student surveys to guide the classroom experience.\n\n\n\n\nProgram Completion โ It is up to the Student Success Manager to ensure our learners are supported and meeting the required metrics to complete the program successfully. \n\n\n\n\nThings That Should Be In Your Background:\n\n\nYou have worked in a capacity where motivating others was essential to your success\n\nYou understand the importance of deadlines and streamlined communication\n\nYou have managed staff before\n\nYou know what makes a dynamic classroom learning environment\n\nYou have experience in making difficult decisions, tackling problems head-on, and can articulate lessons learned\n\nYou have a track record of delivering excellent customer/student satisfaction\n\nYou have successfully worked with a wide variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds\n\nYou have excellent communication skills and experience in being the main point of contact or representative for a brand\n\nYou can operate independently in a remote environment and cultivate strong relationships in a primarily remote capacity\n\nYou have been a part of a growing environment and are comfortable with evolving roles and responsibilities\n\n\n\n\nOther Attributes That Will Help You In This Role:\n\n\nThis role is not required to report into a central Trilogy office, as it is important that all SSMs are physically present at their designated University to interact with their students and their University partners. Frequent interaction and collaboration with co-workers across the world at our other offices and University locations are built into our company ethos.\n\nFull-Time Boot Camp programs run during business hours Monday-Friday. Part-Time Boot Camp courses run during the evenings Monday-Thursday and weekends. Office hours are held before and after classes. With the SSM's role focused both on student support and administrative follow up, hours of the SSM role are flexible, however, you will be expected to spread your working time over business hours, evenings, and during class every other weekend or as needed.\n\n\n\nAbout 2U Inc.
