As an early member of the team, youโll have the unique opportunity to help shape the way our worlds look and play. \n\n\n\nResponsibilites\n* Gather and document reference based on environment design goals and creative direction\n* Leverage the environment art kit to create immersive playable environments\n* Collaborate with other team members to develop new environments and environment gameplay\n* Taking ownership of your performances - Integrate environment assets in the Unreal game engine, taking levels from design through to completion\n* Playing the game regularly to test and verify your work\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications\n* Exceptional skill in world building environments for games\n* 3+ yearsโ experience in game development authoring environments\n* Highly self-motivated and collaborative\n* Ability to communicate effectively with other artists, designers, and engineers\n* Detail-oriented, independent problem solving skills\n* A passion for playing and making games\n* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English\n* Experience with the Unreal engine\n\n\n\nDesired Qualifications\n* Passion for stylized game art\n* Strong art fundamentals including composition, color, and lighting\n* Basic 3D and environment art skills\n* Experience world building for isometric gameplay\n* Experience with cross-platform, and multiplayer development\n* Experience authoring environments for combat gameplay\n\n\n\n\n\n$40 - $60 an hour\n\n\nIn the United States, the standard base pay range for this role is $40-60 (USD) an hour. This base pay range is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S., and those interviewing from outside of the U.S. can inquire accordingly.
