\nAbout the role:\n\n SFOX is looking for someone who is a team player and excels in a dynamic environment.They will handle sensitive data and must maintain the highest ethical standards while leading monthly, quarterly and annual reporting obligations.\n We are looking for a detail-oriented an accountant/senior accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. Their responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned. You should have a solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong financial analysis skills. Possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision and perform under pressure.\nThe Candidate would be primarily responsible for:\n\n\n* Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.\n\n* Month end reporting and analysis\n\n* Assisting with annual audit preparations.\n\n* Managing Process improvements and transformational initiatives\n\n* Ensuring that the integrity of the operating environment meets audit and regulatory standards\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n\n* Establish very good understanding and conceptual knowledge of G/L functionality and dataflow for the G/L process within team\n\n* Responsible for performing the day- to-day general ledger accounting, financial reporting and analysis for assigned functional areas\n\n* Responsible for daily operational transaction and account reconciliation, ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of financial records\n\n* Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules.\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\nEducation: \n\n\nB.A. / B.S. degree or Diploma in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field\n\n\n\n\nExperience: \n\n\n8+ years of relevant experience in Controllership function/finance function with experience of handling specialised/USGAAP based accounting processes\n\nInternational exposure and shared services experience will be added advantage\n\nGood to have experience in MYSQL and Quicksight\n\n\n\n\nCompetencies:\n\n\nExcellent data analysis skills are essential.\n\nAbility to work in a team environment\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with good articulation\n\n\n\n\nPreferred:\n\n\nBig 4 experience\n\nAudit exposure\n\nQuickBooks/SQL\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
