Each week, more than 6 million students are enrolled in TAL's online and offline education platform.\nWhom we are looking for:\nThink Academy is looking for Part-time Remote Math Teacher. Teachers are expected to understand math concepts, prepare classes based on Think Academy's curriculum, deliver engaging and age-appropriate math lessons, explaining concepts, demonstrating problem-solving techniques, and using various teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. Teaching Language is English.\nWhat You Will Do:\n\n\nTeach elementary-level mathematics virtually through the Think Academy Teaching Platform.\n\nActively engage and manage an online classroom of up to 18 students.\n\nPrepare and deliver lessons using Think Academy's curriculum and teaching guidance.\n\nGrade homework and provide other essential teaching-related services.\n\nCommunicate effectively with students and parents, offering timely and personalized feedback.\n\nTypically work 12-20 hours per week(depending on number of classes you take), primarily during weekends or weekday afternoons.\n\n\n\nHow You Can Be Qualified:\n\n\nBachelor’s degree or above; All majors are welcome; Education, or STEM-related majors are preferred\n\n\n\nYou are still eligible to apply if you are still pursuing or in progress of obtaining a Bachelor's degree\n\n\n\nPrior math teaching experiences is not required, but a plus\n\nElementary math competition learning or teaching experience is a plus\n\nCan commit to at least one whole semester teaching starting from 2024 Spring semester (Summer: June - Aug; Fall: Aug – Dec; Spring: Jan - May)\n\nAvailable and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends\n\nSuper passionate about teaching and education industry, and highly responsible and love to get along with kids\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\n\n\n\nPay Range:\n\n\nUSD 45/hr or CAD 60/hr; teachers will be assigned roughly 3 - 7 classes per week\n\nPay Structure: Teaching Fee * Number of Classes + Student Retention Bonus (Targeted at 15% of Teaching Fee) + Training Allowance\n\nPlease ask your recruiter for more information about pay rate\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
