\nAccount Executive West US - Remote - $115k OTE (up to $65k base + $50k+ commission uncapped + equity)\n\nSAM Labs is at an important stage in its development and is looking to build out its sales team to support the next stage of growth. Work as part of our sales team to engage potential customers, drive the sales process, and develop and convert a pipeline of opportunities to achieve revenue targets. \n\nTo set you up for success, we have researched and analyzed exhaustively which regions, districts, and schools would respond positively to Coding and STEAM. You'll be joining an exciting Sales and Marketing team, specifically supported by the Head US Sales Technical Sales (Education Implementation Specialists), and Sales&Marketing Development Representative.\n\nThis position lays the foundation for a successful commercial and strategic career and will offer strong development opportunities as SAM Labsโ realizes its strong revenue growth. \n\nThe Role\n\n\nInvestigate\n\n\n\nGenerate leads by reaching out to, and partnering up with, new schools and new or existing district customers\n\nQualify leads based on their budget, authority, needs, and timeline\n\n\n\nAct\n\n\n\nPitch virtually and close deals to potential customers with a range of school-level and district-level roles\n\nContribute to the success of the team by scheduling on-site client visits or 'virtual deep dives' of qualified leads when deeper conversations are needed\n\n\n\nGrow\n\n\n\n\nManage and optimize the sales process, including activity tracking, pipeline management, and sales forecasting\n\nMaintain and constantly improve a tidy process of activity metrics logging, sales forecast, reliable pipeline, consistently meeting targets, and reporting adequately\n\nContinuously and creatively improve our way to reach out to prospects in districts and schools\n\n\n\nThink\n\n\n\nGain communication insights from communicating with districts and schools and/or visiting them to improve your process \n\nShare successes with the rest of the sales team to improve our collective performance and share knowledge \n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou have\n\n\n1+ years inside sales experience or similar junior sales role in the education industry \n\nStrong verbal, written, and comprehension skills\n\nA bachelors degree or equivalent\n\nEducator or EdTech experience a major plus\n\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
