We're looking for a front-end developer to jump into a variety of projects. Youโll work closely with the rest of our team to implement new designs and iterate on existing web apps. We primarily use HTML, SCSS and Vue.js or React.js as front-end frameworks. But we care more about your talent and willingness to learn than experience with a particular framework.\n\n# Responsibilities\n
We typically work with 8-12 clients at any time on projects like:\n* Designing a web app to visualize the background noise of the internet and uncover the next wave of cyber attacks.\n* Creating software to help some of the worldโs largest, most respected universities make better financial decisions.\n* Building a mobile app that makes communicating with clients during stressful times simple and effective for lawyers. \n \n\n# Requirements\nEye for design\nThe ideal person for this role is passionate about good design and cares about getting the little details right. Youโre not a designer, but youโre not afraid to open a Figma file either. \n\nSelf-motivated and enthusiastic\nWeโre open to someone more junior for this role, provided youโre talented, enthusiastic and self-motivated. We want to help you grow and are happy to spend time teaching you new skills, but we donโt believe in micro-managing so you need to be able to take tasks and run with them. \n\nExcellent communication skills\nCommunication is the key to just about everything in life, and this job is no different. We value communication skills over intense experience building scalable applications.\n \n\nPlease mention the words **EXPRESS MERRY SORT** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMy44NC4yMjguNjg=). This is a feature to avoid spam applicants. Companies can search these words to find applicants that read this and see they're human.\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Front End, Developer and Digital Nomad jobs that are similar:\n\n
$60,000 — $130,000/year\n
\n\n#Location\nUnited States
# How do you apply?\n\nFirst, submit an application. If we think you could bring something new to the team, weโll schedule a short, 30-minute phone interview with Andrew (our CEO). During this time, youโll get to know each other and dive into your background.\n\nIf the phone interview indicates youโre a good addition to the team, weโll schedule a more in-depth technical interview with you.\n\nThe technical interview will consist of 3 parts:\n1. Get to know some other Kritters and talk about your past experience and projects.\n2. Code review - youโll review code that weโve written and talk through how you would improve it.\n3. Design critique - weโll present mockups for a potential project and have you talk through how you would improve them and go about implementing them.\n\nThere isnโt a coding portion of the interview, but you will be expected to communicate effectively, interpret code, and discuss design decisions.\n\nWeโre looking to fill this position by September 1. Due to the number of applications we get we canโt interview everyone, but we will respond to every application and do our best to provide feedback. Feel free to reach out to Andrew or other members of our team if you have specific questions, but please donโt ask for an interview.\n\nThank you so much for reading this far, we canโt wait to meet you!\n
