Summary | We are looking to hire a mid to senior level full stack Javascript/Python web developer, with a particular interest in front end development to begin work as soon as possible. The work will be focused upon our data harmonisation project for UNAIDS, [The AIDS Data Repository](https://adr.unaids.org) (https://adr.unaids.org). The system is an implementation of CKAN and the frontend is built with Python, Jinja2 and JQuery. As a lead technical consultant for [Fjelltopp](http://www.fjelltopp.org) you will:\n\n* Lead the development of new system features that solve meaningful problems.\n* Take particular responsibility for the delivery and quality control of user experience.\n* Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain high-quality software.\n* Review the code written by others on the team, mentoring them where appropriate. \n* Further establish and refine internal best practices and coding conventions.\n* Communicate with project stakeholders concerning delivery and review of our work. \n* Find creative ways to use technology to harmonize the world's public health data.\n* Contribute to company development, sales and growth where possible.\n \n\n# Requirements\nTechnologies and Experience | The applicant must have experience with the following technologies: \n* Python Flask and Jinja2\n* Javascript (JQuery, React, confidence with other frameworks desirable)\n* CSS/HTML/Web development\n* Docker\n* Git\n\nIt is also essential that the applicant can demonstrate leveraging these technologies against:\n\n* Git version-controlled software development best practises\n* Delivery of professional web-based user interfaces\n* Architecting and designing full-stack features from scratch\n\nThe following technologies will be a plus:\n\n* Specific Python libraries: CKAN, Superset, Pandas\n* Specific Javascript libraries: Leaflet, Mapbox, Highcharts, D3\n* SQL (PostgreSQL)\n* R\n* Linux\n* Cloud infrastructure (AWS)\n* DHIS2 API\n* Open Data Kit\n* Jira\n\nAny of the following experience is also desirable:\n\n* Technical work within the health sector, especially public health\n* Extract Transform Load (ETL) frameworks and best practises\n* Cloud based DevOps\n* Python based data visualisation and analysis \n* Management of large heterogeneous datasets\n* Software project management\n \n\nPlease mention the words **AIR SUPPLY MATERIAL** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMy4xMzkuODkuMjIw).
