\nWe are a small, established, and profitable technology company providing online exam software to customers in over 25 countries. We are looking for a part time, remote Oracle DBA to help us manage our database.\n\nWe are running Oracle 12c Standard Edition on RHEL 7.1\n\nYou have 5 - 10 years experience working as a DBA in a Linux environment Responsibilities:\n\n\n* Experience with all aspects of Oracle database administration\n\n* Installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, migration, capacity planning, performance tuning\n\n* Backup & recovery\n\n* Evaluating patch releases and communicating constraints, issues, and timelines for deployment\n\n* Proactive database monitoring and issue resolution.\n\n* Provide technical assistance and promotions to developers for database related code and connectivity\n\n* Strong understanding of Unix/Linux OS, storage and networking\n\n* Shell scripting experience\n\n* Willing to work after hours in case of emergency (down database)\n\n\n\n\nExcellent communications skills and fluent English are essential. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
