\nCityBldr is looking for a back-end engineer to join our ambitious team to develop and deploy our future applications, as well as build upon our existing applications. As the back-end engineer you will write and document back-end code, targeting multiple devices, platforms, and browsers. The preference is for this position to be located at our headquarters in Seattle, WA, however exceptions can be made for candidates with the right characteristics.\n\nOur Ideal Candidate\n\n\n* You have experience in implementing complex engineering frameworks, pipelines, or large scale services from the ground up.\n\n* Is proactive, and can work well in our collaborative team environment.\n\n* Writes consistent, clean, and maintainable code\n\n* Stays up to date with back-end development best case practices\n\n* Great at identifying, troubleshooting, and fixing bugs\n\n* Is excited about working for a fast-growing startup with an eye on creating World class real estate technology.\n\n\n\n\nMust have skills\n\n\n* You have at least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer. \n\n* JavaScript (Node.js)\n\n* Docker, Linux/UNIX\n\n* Git\n\n* Postgres, MongoDB, ElasticSearch\n\n* Experience integrating between front- and back-end systems\n\n\n\n\nBonus points for\n\n\n* Experience with or knowledge of Real Estate / Urban Planning\n\n* Experience with Rust\n\n* Understanding of front-end technologies, including React\n\n* You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in a related Engineering field.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
