Every engineer at Greenhouse is truly full-stack and owns individual features end-to-end, and there’s a lot to own: Greenhouse is a complex platform with a tremendous amount of functionality. \n\nDuring your first year at Greenhouse you will: \n\n\n* Apply functional & OO programming techniques to build high-quality and reusable services in Ruby\n\n* Write reusable Javascript libraries, responsive SASS, and semantic HTML\n\n* Architect complex relational models & optimize PostgreSQL\n\n* Define RESTful web services\n\n* Help us figure out our distributed micro-services strategy based on SOA/EDA principles\n\n* Deploy to prod at least once a week\n\n* Mentor junior/mid-level engineers\n\n\n\n\n You should have:\n\n\n* Degree in CS or related field\n\n* Solid Javascript fundamentals\n\n* Experience with Ruby or experience with another dynamically typed programming language\n\n* Experience with Rails or another web based MVC framework\n\n* Interest in solving real-world business problems\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
