## **Who we're looking for**\n\nThis is a full time job for a smart and responsible individual who enjoys the freedom of remote work and flexible hours. \n\nAn ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to take initiative in solving problems, and work without needing to be micromanaged. Being self-guided in daily work is crucial as the rest of the company may be in different time zones. \n\nWorking as part of a remote team has many great advantages, however you will be expected to be able to communicate clearly with the team over a variety of different mediums, take a task through to completion, while being comfortable in raising issues or questions along the way. As a remote team across two opposite time zones, we have a flexible approach to work schedule, however we would usually expect you to cross at least 4 hours a day during standard working hours Monday to Friday UK time during your first year of working with us.\n\n## What you will do\n\nWe're looking for someone who has been working with Javascript & CSS professionally for at least 3+ years. No day will be the same - you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks across the business. Your opinions and ideas will shape the future of the company.\n\nAs a Frontend Developer, you will collaborate closely with our technical founder, and a designer. To give you a sense of what youโll be doing day-to-day, here are some things youโll be working on:\n\n- Converting designs into WebComponents using StencilJS\n- Writing tests using Jest & Puppeteer\n- Consistently ship small features and improvements\n- Help maintain code quality, organization and automation\n- Writing and updating technical documentation\n- Improve, extend and refactor existing components in line with the best practices\n- Code Reviews\n\n## **Your first month**\n\n- Gain in-depth knowledge of our product and understand our development cycle by:\n - Reviewing our existing codebase and refactoring sub-standard code\n - Investigating and fixing bugs\n- Offer your suggestions on how we can improve the development process, product and codebase\n- Build and deploy at least one new feature\n\n## Compensation and Perks:\n\n- You can work from anywhere and tailor your own work hours\n- Salary range (depending on skills): $50.000 USD - $90.000 USD\n- Coworking allowance\n- Attending company retreats (when itโs safe to travel again)\n- Three weeks paid vacation + all local statutory holidays (paid)\n- Joining the team at industry events and design conferences\n\n## About us\n\n**Remote-first:** We are a remote-first company without an in person office.
