\nDescription\n\n\n* Work with Product, Engineering, & Data Scientists to build & manage Data systems used across product & research portfolio\n\n* Own and manage data systems across multiple projects & platforms\n\n* Design, Build, and manage multiple Data pipelines and ETLs dealing with various forms of data\n\n* Work with engineering to build Data services, Sets, and streams\n\n* Manage On Demand, Scheduled, and private data\n\n* Design, manage, and enforce Data security & standards across all teams\n\n* Work with Engineering, Product, and Science to model data across the organization\n\n* Provide Data validation mechanisms in a decentralized distributed platform for various teams including science & engineering.\n\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\n\n* Strong communication & Collaboration Skills\n\n* Experience in Fast Paced Startup environments\n\n* Positive Attitude with proven delivery experience\n\n* BS computer science/related subject matter or equivalent experience\n\n* 6+ years experience with RDBMS systems such-as Sql Server, Oracle, Mysql, Postgres\n\n* 6+ Years experience with SQL development experiences with solid T-SQL/SQL skills and proven SQL optimization skills.\n\n* Ability to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot production level cloud/on-premise/hybrid deployments of Sql and/or nosql systems\n\n* Experience with both OLAP & OLTP workloads\n\n* Experience with designing and implementing ETL workflows\n\n* Strong passion to learn new technologies & methodologies\n\n* Experience with NoSql/Big Data Technologies and Querying methods including Hadoop/Mapreduce systems, Apache Stack, Column Family, Key-Value, Document, and Graph data systems\n\n* Knowledge in One or More languages such-as Java, C#, Scala, GO, Python, Javascript\n\n* Good Data Modeling experience\n\n* Experience with Search systems such-as Solr/Elasticsearch a plus\n\n* Experience in Financial, Retail, Spatial Analytics, Mapping, Location Based Services & GIS and like data and/or industries a Strong Plus\n\n\n\n\nThis position will be filled in either Seattle, WA or Miami, FL. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
