This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a passionate engineering team creating solutions that change lives.\n\nLearn more about our amazing mission at https://www.owletcare.com/\n\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: \n\n\n* Design and build customer-facing apps for the iOS platform\n\n* Collaborate with product team to define, design, and ship new features\n\n* Lead the design of Owlet’s architecture based on product strategy and requirements\n\n* Work closely with other Engineering disciplines to design full stack systems\n\n* Understand, advocate and support Owlet’s technology strategy\n\n* Turn business needs and priorities into a technology roadmap\n\n* Analyze the current product environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement\n\n* Analyze technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the product architecture\n\n* Drive architecture and coding best practices\n\n* Help identify organizational requirements for the resources, structures and cultural changes necessary to support the architecture\n\n* Create and maintain documentation of all architecture design and analysis work\n\n\n\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:\n\n\n* Proven experience (8+ years) in iOS app development, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful iOS applications\n\n* Expertise in Swift and Objective-C programming languages, along with a deep understanding of iOS SDKs, frameworks, and Apple's design principles\n\n* Some familiarity with encryption and security protocols\n\n* Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and memory management\n\n* Strong familiarity with mobile development concepts\n\n* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues\n\n* Effective communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams\n\n* Experience debugging and performance tuning of mobile applications\n\n* Experience working with REST and JSON\n\n* Ability to rapidly iterate from prototype to shipping product\n\n* Comfortable with Test-Driven Development, Continuous Build and Integration methodologies\n\n* Prior experience working in an agile development environment\n\n\n\n\nBONUS SKILLS:\n\n\n* Familiarity with iOS Bluetooth Low Energy communication APIs\n\n* Familiarity with Google Firebase APIs\n\n\n\n\nPERKS\nFlex-time (unlimited PTO)\nCompetitive compensation based on experience\nBenefits package\nProduct discounts\n\nRemote work opportunities \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
