We're on a mission to connect an entire ecosystem to redefine how genomic data is used in clinical settings. Position Overview: Tempus’s Mountain Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for leading a Regional Sales Team (Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico and Arizona) and to exceeding sales goals across Tempus’s product portfolio. This encompasses the creation and implementation of regional and territory business plans as well as the selection, hiring, training, development, and management of Clinical Account Executives within a defined geographic region. \n\nThe RSM will be responsible for managing business results, sales activities, and cross functional initiatives in a specific regional geography.  Responsible for making the day to day decisions required to manage a business function including deploying resources, allocating costs, and directing business activities. This role will define and lead the development and execution of the product roadmap for the sample management and diagnostic portfolios. Through a team of professionals, the Head of PM will work to identify and quantify market opportunities, develop and vet product concepts and lead efforts to develop and commercialize the products. The Vice President will also work to establish and execute appropriate life cycle management plans including evolution of claims, COGS reduction programs, pricing analysis and line rationalization efforts. This role will work closely with the cross functional leadership team in the execution of these responsibilities. This role will ensure that business projects are executed effectively and efficiently. This role will operate in a player/coach model and may have direct responsibility for a specific product line, in addition to the oversight of the team.
