(More info below! ๐)\n\n \nHereโs how youโll make an impact as a Country Risk Specialist:\n\n\n* Daily Monitoring of KRIs related to Financial Risks (Capital, Market and Liquidity Risk)\n\n* Build Financial Risk Indicators, Reports and Policies; (FX exposure, FX VAR, Intraday exposure, Liquidity Buffer, LCR, Basel Index, RWA)\n\n* Build automated and robust processes for risk monitoring and report\n\n* Prepare prudential and regulatory reports for countries in the Latam region related to Financial Risks\n\n* Implement short and long term stress testing (Wind down plan, prudential forecast, etc)\n\n* Define and implement metrics for evaluating and controlling financial risks, in line with group methodology\n\n* Prepare and provide training for employees on Financial risk management, or develop a form of management that raises the level of risk and control mindset\n\n* Work close to the first line of defense with a deep understanding of the business, supporting projects of new products and markets\n\n* Ensure current risk profile is consistent to the defined risk appetite (RAS)\n\n* Support \n\n* Raise awareness of risks to the company\n\n* Prepare presentations to local and group risk committees\n\n\n\nThis role would be great for someone who has:\n\n\n* Background in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, with previous experience in Fintechs and Financial Institutions\n\n* Experience working with financial risk requirements in Basel III/IV\n\n* Advanced Knowledge of Excel (macro and VBA)\n\n* Knowledge in Python and SQL\n\n* Experience in work with financial risk regulatory requirements\n\n* Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills (both written and oral)\n\n* Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to understand new analytical concepts\n\n* Ability and experience in analysing data, to extract patterns and trends to better understand risk and emerging risk exposures\n\n* Ability to create reports, summaries, presentations and process documents to display results\n\n* Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at the same time to complete wor\n\n\n\nIt would be ideal but not essential if you had:\n\n\n* Business related bachelor's degree and risk management certification (i.e. RMIA Certified Risk Management Practitioner, FRM Financial Risk Management, etc) \n\n\n\nKey Benefits:\n\n\n* ๐ RSUโs in a rapidly growing company after a year with us\n\n* ๐ป Hybrid working model โ A combination of work-from-home and from the office \n\n* โ๏ธ Wisers can work remotely for 90 days a year.
