We are building the future real estate platform now.\n\nWe are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to work with a dynamic and experienced team. For the right candidate this will be an opportunity to contribute to company-wide best practices for testing.\n\nJob Specs\n• Collaborate with the product and engineering team to define testing needs and priorities\n• Create test plans, scripts and strategies for new product initiatives\n• Lead manual and automated testing practices\n• Establish collaborative working relationships with development and product teams\n• Work with developers to develop test-coverage strategies\n• Improve site reliability and user experience while optimizing and de-risking our software development life cycle \n\nQualifications\n• 2+ years working experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar role, using testing tools and processes in an agile environment\n• Experience with multiple forms of testing, such as end-to-end, user acceptance, unit, functional, regression, integration, load, performance and system testing\n• Experience automating functional and acceptance testing\n• Strong interpersonal skills and natural collaborative instincts\n• Strong written and verbal communication skills\n\nSkills that would be a plus\n• Experience with Node and React\n• Experience with tools such as Cypress, Mocha and Jest\n\nCulture at HomeLister\nWe're an ambitious, smart, and open-minded group both from the real estate world and many other backgrounds (ecom, product, consumer, writing, etc).
