Cody uses LLMs and the Sourcegraph search engine and code graph, providing answers that eliminate toil and keep human programmers in flow. You can think of Cody as your programmer buddy who has read through all the code on GitHub, all the questions on StackOverflow, and all your organizationโs private code, and is always there to answer questions you might have or suggest ways of doing something based on prior knowledge.\n\n\nThe Cody Strategic team is aimed at turning the largest, most world-recognizable brands into Cody Champions. We do this by partnering with a small number of highly engaged strategic customers to build product functionality that enables these customers to successfully deploy the most-loved coding assistant, but at massive scale. \nJob Description\n\nExecThread has built a basic version of its core product offering for executives, using NodeJS, Express, Angular, and MongoDB. We are now growing the product and engineering teams, and looking to bring on our first full-time engineering employees to continue development of the platform, while substantially adding to the set of features, fleshing out devops infrastructure, and improving customer satisfaction. Working directly with the CTO, the candidate will help plan and implement the growth of the product from our current service offering, to grow the user base and use by over 100x.\n\nTechnologies & Systems\n\nThe ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly immerse him/herself in and learn (or already know):\n\n\n* HTML\n\n* JavaScript/Angular\n\n* Commit/Build/Test/Deploy infrastructure\n\n\n\n\nOther stuff about the job\n\n\n* Product/engineering will be based on the SF peninsula; business operations will be in New York City.\n\n* Occasional travel to NYC might be required, but the majority of the time will be spent working in the Bay Area (in-or-around Redwood City)\n\n* Telecommuting would be an option for the right applicant\n\n* Candidate should have the legal ability to work for money in the United States (citizen, visa, etc)\n\n* Candidate should have willingness and ability to learn new things quickly\n\n* Candidate will be working with founders on building a product and team at the earliest stages of the company.
