We are in the process of building our first commercial scale systems.\n\n* The Strategic Supply Chain Manager is a full-time, site-based position.\n\n\n\n\nRoles & Responsibilities\n\n\nIdentify strategic suppliers for pilot and commercial energy storage systems based on quality, supply capacity and cost.\n\nNegotiate supply agreements and Bill Of Materials (BOM) cost.\n\nManage supplier relationships, forecasts, and on-time deliveries.\n\nCollaborate with Engineering, Finance and Legal to create, execute and evolve the sourcing strategy.\n\nMaintain executive relationships with suppliers, lead Executive Business Reviews, and escalate to resolve supply chain challenges that require executive intervention.\n\nImprove supply chain and supplier performance, including the use of cost models and objective-based performance measures.\n\nLead cross-functional initiatives that aim to reduce lead times and cost, improve quality, and reduce financial exposure.\n\nCreate & implement supply chain tools, processes, and policies (ex: Supplier Code of Conduct and Business Conduct).\n\nDefine, recruit, hire, and train a supply chain organization, as needs arise. Ensure buyers/planners are sufficiently supporting supply chain activities.\n\nDevelop and maintain โshould costโ models for key components.\n\n\n\n\nKey Qualifications\n\n\n* 10+ yearsโ experience in supply chain management including strategic and tactical supply, and executive escalations.\n\n* Experience working in supply chains in the semiconductor, solar, energy storage, or related industries\n\n* Track record of successes in achieving major cost reductions through collaboration with suppliers and engineering to allow supplierโs deep knowledge of cost drivers to influence design.\n\n* Love for negotiating costs and contracts.\n\n* Bachelorโs degree in business management, supply chain, engineering, or a related discipline\n\n* Experience working independently, as well as working in a team-orientated and fast-paced environment\n\n* Use statistical concepts and theories to analyze and collect data and construct solutions to business problems\n\n* Working knowledge and experience with MRP/ERP business software\n\n* Empathy, sensitivity, and ability to effectively interact with a broad and diverse range of colleagues.\n\n* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\n* Fun-loving team player.\n\n* Ability to work onsite at our Sunnyvale facility.\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Qualifications Desired\n\n\nManagement experience\n\nSupply chain experience with heavy/large equipment and/or industrial settings\n\n* Adaptability: Being able to adjust plans quickly in response to changing circumstances, such as supplier delays, transportation issues, or unexpected demand fluctuations.\n\n* Negotiation Skills: Effective negotiation with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to secure favorable terms and resolve disputes.\n\n* Global Perspective: Understanding the international markets, including customs regulations, international shipping options, and cultural considerations when working with global partners.\n\n\n\n\n \n\nWork Location: Onsite - San Jose, CA\n\nSalary Range: $160,000 USD - $175,000 USD\n\nSalary Basis: Annual\n\nThis job posting contains the salary range that Antora Energy believes it would be willing to pay for the posted job.
