๐Ÿ‘‰ Please reference you found the job on Remote OK, this helps us get more companies to post here, thanks!

When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy equipment which they then pay you back for later. Also never pay for trainings you have to do. Those are scams! NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Posts that link to pages with "how to work online" are also scams. Don't use them or pay for them. Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. A good idea is to check the domain name for the site/email and see if it's the actual company's main domain name. Scams in remote work are rampant, be careful! Read more to avoid scams. When clicking on the button to apply above, you will leave Remote OK and go to the job application page for that company outside this site. Remote OK accepts no liability or responsibility as a consequence of any reliance upon information on there (external sites) or here.

Studio provides an IDE-like experience for developers to execute and debug queries and manage Stardog itself while Explorer provides non-technical users a way to search, browse, and explore their Knowledge Graph. Next up is a new tool that will let architects and other subject matter experts visually design and build their Knowledge Graph from the ground up.\n\nWe're looking for a talented individual to be a new team lead, working closely with the VP Engineering, Product Manager, and the rest of the development team, to help us achieve our vision.\n\nAs a Team Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating the team, conducting 1:1's, managing sprints, mentoring your teammates, conducting performance reviews, etc. But, this is a player/coach role, so you will spend time designing and building new features as well. You should expect to spend a lot of time engineering, maybe even the majority, but the responsibilities of being the lead means you will be in meetings, you will deal with HR, there may even be paperwork. You can expect to spend between 10 and 40% of your time on those responsibilities. Therefore, we expect to see leadership experience on your resume.\n\nOur stack is written with Typescript using React, so we're expecting you to be familiar with those technologies. Bonus points if you're familiar with Node.js, Redux, Cypress, and Webpack. Even more of a bonus if you know Sass, or just have some background in UX and design and are familiar with tools like Figma or Sketch.\n\nNo degree? No problem. Having a piece of paper with some fancy words on it like "Computer Science" is great, but not a requirement. You can be an engineer without an engineering degree. What we're looking for is an experienced engineer, who has guided a team before, to come in, work hard, and be passionate about solving our user's problems. We are looking for real engineering work as well as demonstrable experience and skills in a leadership capacity.\n\nWe are a remote-first company. You should be comfortable with, and have experience working remotely. You must have strong communication skills as much of our interactions will be over email, chat, and PR where it's harder to get your point across. Most of the team is in the EST (UTC-5) time zone, so the closer the time zone alignment, the better.\n\nWe will expect to see code! Don't be shy about sharing your work. You can even [check out](https://github.com/stardog-union/stardog.js) some of [ours](https://github.com/stardog-union/stardog-language-servers).\n\nAnd if you want to see what you'll be working on, check out [Explorer](https://explorer.stardog.com/). #What is the job?\n\nNo matter how powerful and flexible you build a platform, at the end of the day itโ€™s the tools you present to the user that define the experience. Radix is seeking a savvy UX expert to come build the experiences that will define the future of decentralized finance (DeFi).\n\nDeFi has turned out to be the killer app that is taking public distributed ledgers from niche products for speculators and hobbyists to projects of global economic significance, and with it has come a new paradigm for user interfaces. Authentication models, interoperability expectations, and the entire concept of user accounts are all undergoing dramatic changes; at Radix youโ€™ll have the opportunity to define the way forward while working at the very cutting edge of a space undergoing furious growth.\n\nWorking from a series of end-to-end user scenarios, you will wireframe delightful user experiences and pitch your design to a team of brilliant folks who care very deeply about the end result. Next, youโ€™ll work with artists and UI experts to produce a consumable design with appropriate fonts, colors and iconography, after which youโ€™ll move on to implementation with a small team. Youโ€™ll be primarily focused on delivering the front-end, but expect a healthy dose of implementing the requisite services you will consume, as well.\n\n#What are we looking for?\n\nYouโ€™re able to isolate the 90% case for user experiences. You think in terms of making the most common interactions effortless, rather than making anything possible.\nWhen discussing new capabilities, your first instinct is to think of the user story rather than the feature set.\nYou donโ€™t get wedded to ideas. Youโ€™re not reluctant to throw prototypes away when something isnโ€™t working.\nYouโ€™re a confident coder who has built public-facing user interfaces in the past. You have some experience building REST services and/or WebSocket backends.\nYouโ€™re intelligent and learn quickly. Absolutely no one at Radix winds up only doing whatโ€™s in their job description, and adaptability is essential.\n\n#What do you need?\n\n4+ years as a professional software engineer\n\nFluent in JavaScript and TypeScript\n\nFluent with React or Vue\n\nComfortable with Java or C#\n\nA love for all things crypto is a huge plus!\n\n#Who are we?\n\nAt Radix, we're a team of like-minded thinkers who have long been convinced that we're living in the earliest stages of a global financial revolution. This revolution is being fuelled by decentralized finance (or DeFi for short), which is enabling an assortment of pioneering developers and entrepreneurs to re-invent almost every financial product that is currently traded and invested in traditional markets, without requiring central authorities or siloed infrastructure. DeFi has captured a great deal of attention and investment in the crypto-aware niche, growing assets under management from $1 billion to $40 billion in less than a year. Impressive as its growth has been, its current market size isn't even a rounding error on the over $111 trillion held in traditional finance. We're focused on what it will take to go from billions to trillions.\n\nRadix went back to first principles to come up with the right technical solutionโ€”the first layer-one protocol built specifically for mainstream DeFiโ€”and we have already tested out at over 1 million transactions per second. We're keenly aware that the need for an infinitely scalable platform is only one prerequisite among many for mass adoption, and we're also blazing new ground in the areas of purpose-built developer tools, user experiences, and regulatory integration.\n\nWe have forged a path deep into the future of what distributed ledger technology is going to look like and we need you to come and be part of the team that is making that happen right now. \n\nPlease mention the words **HOLIDAY DRINK PUZZLE** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4xMjU=). Vaan Group is hiring a

Remote Senior Frontend Engineer

Hi there! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Xavier Armand and I am the co-founder of The Vaan Group (www.vaangroup.com): a fully remote UX design and engineering agency with headquarters in NYC. Weโ€™re looking to hire a senior frontend engineer to work on e-commerce projects. \n\nWe build commerce engines. We're not a 360 agency. We're not a marketing agency. We're a design and engineering studio. Thatโ€™s our difference. Our e-commerce stores are designed and built to give our clients a technical edge over their competition. To do this, we synthesize business requirements, UX requirements, marketing requirements, technology requirements and creative requirements into a single digital shopping experience built for our clients and their consumers โ€“ a commerce engine. Our technology becomes the foundation upon which business' scale their operations, escalate their marketing efforts and grow their sales. The value of our work is defined by how big of a moat our clientsโ€™ technology creates between them, their competition, and Amazon.\n\nOur clients range from large e-commerce enterprises (>$100M per year) to successful mid-stage ($1M - $100M per year) direct to consumer (DTC) e-commerce brands. We very often work with the following platforms: Shopify Plus, Contentful. DatoCMS, ReCharge Payments, and Algolia\n\nWeโ€™re a realistic group, not looking for rockstar ninja wizards or whatever people say these days. Our team resides (or is working from) around the USA, Poland, Spain, Brazil, and Norway. We are looking for someone with Shopify experience who's built custom frontend experiences (themes, apps, features). \nYou should be comfortable working solo or leading a team.\nYou should feel comfortable taking responsibility for a completion and launch of a project.\nYou should care about the quality of the code and the output.\nYou would work closely with our CTO.\n\nBy experience I mean we're looking for someone who's led the development of commercially available e-commerce websites or apps built or integrated with Shopify. \n\n Agencies are problem solvers by nature - we often march forward with 70% of a brief and our clients expect us to complete the puzzle. A perfect candidate has well-formed opinions, great discipline, naturally established work habits, and takes delight in their work.\n\nA great quote about what we're looking for from people who have been managing remote teams longer than us:\n\n"Everyone has to be an A-player. Remote team members are used to four to six hours of focused, uninterrupted work every day. You have to be able to get through problems on your own and be productive without asking for help. Thereโ€™s no substitute for skill and experience in those cases."\n\nWe look forward to hearing from you! \n\nPlease mention the words **VOID SPATIAL AVOCADO** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4xMjU=). This is a feature to avoid spam applicants. Companies can search these words to find applicants that read this and see they're human.\n\n \n\n#Location\nEurope or Latin America

\nCircle is a global financial technology firm that enables businesses of all sizes to harness the power of stablecoins and public blockchains for payments, commerce and financial applications worldwide. Circle's platform has supported over 100 million transactions worth tens of billions of dollars, with nearly 10 million retail customers, over a thousand businesses, while storing and securing more than $5 billion in digital currency assets. Circle is also the creator of USD Coin (USDC), the fastest growing, regulated, fully-reserved stablecoin, which now stands at a 2+ billion market cap and is adding more than 100 million net new digital dollars in circulation every week. Today, Circle's transactional services, business accounts, and platform APIs are giving rise to a new generation of financial services and commerce applications that hold the promise of raising global economic prosperity for all through programmable internet commerce.\n\nWhat you’ll be part of:\n\nWith the mission “To raise global economic prosperity through programmable internet commerce,” Circle was founded on the belief that blockchains and digital currency will rewire the global economic system, creating a fundamentally more open, inclusive, efficient and integrated world economy.  We envision a global economy where people and businesses everywhere can more freely connect and transact with each other with new technologies for digital money. We believe such a system can raise prosperity for people and companies everywhere.\n\nEngineering at Circle:\n\nIn 2020, Circle unveiled Circle APIs: a set of solutions and smarter technology to help businesses accept payments in a more global, scalable and efficient alternative to traditional banking rails (spoiler: we’re using USD Coin under the hood).\n\nOver the next 12 months, we’re going to rapidly grow our API customer base and enable even more businesses to easily integrate and benefit from the breakthrough of programmable money on the internet.\n\nIf you’re data-driven, interested in building something meaningful and would love to work in an entrepreneurial environment, we can’t wait to hear from you.\n\nYou will aspire to our four core values:\n\n\n* Multistakeholder - you have dedication and commitment to our customers, shareholders, employees and families and local communities.\n\n* Mindful - you seek to be respectful, an active listener and to pay attention to detail.  \n\n* Driven by Excellence - you are driven by our mission and our passion for customer success which means you relentlessly pursue excellence, that you do not tolerate mediocrity and you work intensely to achieve your goals. \n\n* High Integrity - you seek open and honest communication, and you hold yourself to very high moral and ethical standards.  You reject manipulation, dishonesty and intolerance.\n\n\n\n\nYour team is responsible for:\n\nDevelopers love using Circle APIs but our business partners rely on our client tools for their day-to-day insights and health of their billing stack. To that end, you’ll work on providing a seamless onboarding flow to help new business get their payments off the ground. And as a new business launches with Circle APIs, they use Circle’s dashboards (with your help!) to help manage and optimize their payments. You’ll be part of a small frontend team where you will play a key role in helping us create delightful customer experiences in a sound and scalable way.\n\nYou'll work on:\n\n\n* Challenging (and fun!) problems centered around digital currencies & their adoption. Did we mention that Circle launched a “programmable dollar” called USD Coin (or USDC)?\n\n* Building modern front-end applications with beautiful & consistent UI for our customers\n\n* Partner with our Product and Design teams to define the best UX for the tools we’re building\n\n* Experimentation, A/B tests and client feedback sessions to stay connected to our users and constantly provide delightful experiences\n\n* Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality \n\n\n\n\nYou'll bring to Circle:\n\n\n* 4+ years experience building user interfaces for complex applications with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.\n\n* Experience building responsive, component-based web apps with modern JavaScript front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue, React, Angular)\n\n* A keen sense of knowing when a feature “works” and when it can be improved.\n\n* A focus on coding standards and code quality -- a desire to have great test coverage to enable continuous delivery\n\n* Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with remote teams, share ideas and present concepts effectively\n\n* Self-starter, you enjoy moving at a fast pace, shipping software that improves the user experience and constantly improving your work with little supervision\n\n\n\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at Circle. \nWe are looking for an engineer with a “find a way or make a way” attitude that is excited to join a small but growing team that has more projects than developers. This opportunity is for someone excited for autonomy, ownership, and breadth of responsibility. Quality of work and ownership are key qualities for this role.\n\nThis position requires a mastery of React and the JavaScript ecosystem. It's critical for success in this role to have a great eye for detail and a focus on quality. This position will be responsible for implementing pixel perfect front end designs. A focus on quality and advocating for best UX practices will be expected. PR/Code review and advocating for improving the quality of the technical code base will be an everyday responsibility. \n\nPLEASE NOTE WE CAN ONLY HIRE NORTH AMERICAN BASED PEOPLE AT THIS TIME.\n\nOur environment is typical of a start-up:\n\n\n* We work in small teams, fast-paced, we all get a lot done by everyone wearing many hats.\n\n* We are serious about optimizing our time and staying focused on the most important goals and outcomes.\n\n* We are a remote team and are completely on board with 100% remote work, meaning we focus on overcommunication to ensure we can stay in sync despite our physical distance.\n\n* We coordinate using Jira, hold a daily standup, and mostly communicate via ad hoc video calls and Slack.\n\n* We’re building lots of new things, but also maintaining a significant business.  We are mindful of the balance and need to monitor and pay down tech debt and also innovate with exciting greenfield projects.\n\n* We require a daily overlap with the team but are spread across North America\n\n\n\n\nWe’re a hybrid stack\n\n\n* Our “NextGen” technology is written in .NET Core, NodeJS and React.  Our “Core” platform, which is being replaced by NextGen,  is AngularJS (aka Angular 1) and ASP.NET.\n\n* We’re looking for senior talent to contribute to our Core platform as well as NextGen.\n\n\n\n\nSome of the technology/experience we are looking for\n\n\n* React\n\n* GraphQL \n\n* Typescript\n\n* antd\n\n* Testing (Unit/integration/End to End)\n\n* CSS/LESS\n\n* A keen eye for implementing and occasionally improving design\n\n\n\n\nBuild something challenging.\n\nThis isn't just another CRUD application. Your challenge will be to deliver a highly-available service with complex business logic being used by hundreds of businesses 24/7 to keep their operations running.  Our entity model is vast and a major part of our domain is synchronizing data with third party traceability systems. Explore the limits of your resourcefulness by designing human and automated systems that deliver consistent performance, reliability and scale whilst working with less-than-ideal third-party requirements and systems.\n\nOther Details.\n\n\n* We are a fully remote company and this position will be remote.\n\n* We are looking for someone who is ready to join us full-time after a brief trial period (all our employees do this).\n\n* We offer health benefits, 401k, unlimited time off, charity matching, and other cool perks. \n\n* We are offering an annual salary in the range of $110,000 - $130,000 USD.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to JavaScript, React, Senior, Engineer, Front End, Video and Angular jobs that are similar:\n\n $60,000 — $120,000/year\n

Aha! is hiring a

Remote Senior Front End Ruby on Rails Engineer

Aha! Engineering is a mid-sized, fully remote team. We are centered around North American time zones so that we can collaborate during the workday.\n\n**Our core values include:**\n\n* [The Responsive Method](https://www.aha.io/company/the-responsive-method)\n* Moving quickly. We ship code multiple times a day. We believe in getting new features in front of customers and iteratively improving as we learn what works and what doesnโ€™t.\n* Product over process. We want our engineers to have the time and focus to solve deep and sometimes-difficult problems, so we aim to minimize the overhead introduced by heavyweight processes or excessive meetings.\n* Collaboration. We each bring unique experiences and skills to the table. Working together to share that knowledge benefits the entire team and helps us to produce the best results for our customers.\n\n**Who are we looking for**\n\nWe donโ€™t believe that there is any tension between writing great code and being a kind person who elevates the rest of the team. We look for strong problem-solving skills and experience working on important functionality for a cloud-based product -- and just as importantly, we look for people who are humble, eager to learn, and always willing to help others learn as well. We want to work with people who enjoy picking up a problem and solving it, regardless of the technologies and techniques involved.\n\nAll of our engineers work across the full stack. As a Senior Front End Engineer, you can expect to spend the majority of your time working with React or HTML/CSS, but you will also be asked to write significant backend code in Ruby on Rails to support the frontend features you are building.\n\n**Technology**\n\nOur sole product is the Aha! web application. It is a single-instance, multi-tenant Ruby on Rails monolith supported by Postgres (database), Redis (background jobs), and memcached (Rails caching). We also run a Node.js web server to support collaborative editing and real-time updates. Our application is hosted on Amazon Web Services and architected with ECS for reproducibility and scalability.\n\nWe use React for rich client-side experiences on the frontend. Some of the features weโ€™ve built with React include:\n\nOur fully collaborative text editor, which supports multiple cursors and simultaneous editing by any number of users. We also published a blog post explaining the underlying technology.\nOur presentation editor, which allows users to create presentations with slide themes, shapes, text, and embedded Aha! reports (which update live so the presentation is always up-to-date).\nOur Gantt chart, which supports scaling and scrolling to change the timeline, drag-and-drop, and quick actions to create records or sort the bars.\n\nWe embrace new technologies that help us deliver a great product, but we also remain cognizant of the maintenance overhead that a new library or platform brings. We seek to solve the problems in front of us, rather than prematurely optimizing to address issues that may never materialize.\n\nWe do most of our collaboration and planning in Aha! itself, which we find especially rewarding. We also utilize GitHub, Slack, and GoToMeeting for video calls.\n\n**What youโ€™ll be doing**\n\nWe work on a broad range of features across the full stack. Some of your work might include:\n\n* Implementing new features for our users, touching each layer of the MVC as needed\n* Building deeply interactive reporting interfaces using React\n* Working proactively with product and UX to refine and iterate on specifications as the feature takes shape\n* Optimizing browser performance on screens and components that render large quantities of data to ensure Aha! is snappy and satisfying to use\n* Interfacing directly with customers to quickly squash bugs as part of our regular support rotation\n* Documenting components in our styleguide to help drive consistency across the interface\n\n*If this sounds appealing, we would love to hear from you and discuss further. A real human reviews every application, so please use the form to help us learn more about you.* \n\nPlease mention the words **INNOCENT ESTATE CLIMB** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMjE2LjczLjIxNi4xMjU=).
