The opportunity \nMagic Leapโ€™s People Business Partner roles partner side-by-side with Magic Leap business unit leadership in aligning business objectives to talent strategies and plans. These roles know Magic Leap, the industry, company, and business unit priorities, the customers Magic Leap services, how Magic Leap differentiates in the market, and how our People strategies and offerings support business outcomes.  They also provide strategic input, insight, coaching, and advice on people-related topics.; work side-by-side with business leaders to implement and execute key Magic Leap People programs and services; and act as the connector between the business and People Team subject matter experts. By leveraging their HR & Talent expertise with first-hand business insights, building strong partnerships across the business, and strong relationships across Magic Leapโ€™s People team and cross-functional partners, People Business Partner roles inform the People-related offerings and influence better performance and business outcomes.\nWhat youโ€™ll do \nThe People Business Partner Director drives effective organizational outcomes through the People strategy. โ€ข You are working towards a Bachelor's degree Petroleum Engineering.
โ€ข Minimum GPA: 3.0 strongly preferred, may consider 2.7 and above.
โ€ข Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Job Requirements:
โ€ข Design drilling equipment used in the process of extracting oil and gas from both onshore and offshore reserves
โ€ข Make recommendations based on cost, effort and feasibility
โ€ข Devise plans and methods to effectively drill fields to recover oil and gas
โ€ข Develop and modify tools and designs based on performance observation
โ€ข Ensure equipment is installed, operated and maintained properly for effective use
โ€ข Work closely with the procurement team to procure the necessary equipment and tools for projects
