\nIf you are a dynamic, engaging technologist that loves mentoring others and architecting best of breed SaaS products, we want you!\n\n\nNovoPath is looking for an experienced Enterprise & Cloud Migration Architect (Microsoft Azure) to drive the migration of our industry leading products into a modern, scalable, cloud solution. The Cloud Architect will be a hands-on contributor responsible for the migration of on-premise applications and infrastructure elements to the cloud. You will be responsible for the analysis, design, and planning of infrastructure solutions in Azure and other related technologies. You will lead technical discussions with the CTO and VP of Engineering that drive key decisions and implementation. You will guide and mentor multiple full-stack engineering teams working on improving NovoPath’s next-generation of SaaS based products. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds that are meaningfully improving patient outcomes.\n\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n* Own the technical vision, design, project scope and work with project teams to deploy Azure’s solutions.\n\n* Serve as the technical leader and cloud subject matter expert, facilitating technical discussions and providing thought and technical design leadership for cloud migration strategies.\n\n* Direct, develop and coordinate cloud architecture and implementation across diverse areas including application development, identity and access management, data management, monitoring and alerting.\n\n* Evaluate existing environments, research, and make recommendations for future technology decisions, prioritization, technology modernization, assessment of cloud readiness and migration strategy.\n\n* Provide best practices for cloud system design, infrastructure integrations, application development practices and production infrastructure patterns to enable a flexible and highly available environment.\n\n* Identify risks associated with cloud computing services and a risk mitigation plan for coping with and overcoming such risks.\n\n* Keep abreast of emerging cloud technology trends and their impact on cloud solutions.\n\n* Act as a change agent for cloud technologies and supporting processes.\n\n* Foster an inclusive team environment.\n\n\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n\n* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.\n\n* Demonstrated proficiency with the design, implementation, and support of cloud solutions, and exhibit superior communication skills.\n\n* 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture design and development.\n\n* 2+ years hands-on cloud migration experience in Microsoft Azure.\n\n* Significant experience with Azure Monitor, Security Center, Application Insights and other Azure tools around the maintenance and administration of multiple subscriptions and workgroups.\n\n* Knowledge of HA environment solutions and redundancy.\n\n* Understanding of Azure DevOps and Azure IaaS & PaaS for modernized infrastructure.\n\n* Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment with CI/CD and application lifecycle management.\n\n* Ability to serve as a liaison between both business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs.\n\n* Constantly be looking to innovate and love working with cutting edge tech.\n\n* Experience working in an Agile environment with a focus on a Secure SDLC.\n\n* Be cool to work with, value diversity, and enjoy working without a ton of hand holding.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe ideal candidate also has:\n\n\n* Strong familiarity with DevOps best practices.\n\n* Multiple Microsoft Azure certifications.\n\n* Experience integrating Azure cloud services with on-premise technologies in a hybrid environment.\n\n* Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker, Openshift, Kubernetes, etc. is a plus.\n\n* Self-motivated with an innate curiosity around emerging technology and platforms.\n\n* Excellent relationship building, time management and organization skills.\n\n* Ability to work under deadline pressure.\n\n* Solid oral and written communication skills.\n\n* Demonstrated ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
