\nAbout the Position:\n\nWe are a seeking a proven technical leader who has experience building and running highly autonomous teams building ground-breaking software at tremendous speeds. You will be a blend of architect, coach, and visionary that’s comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment. This position will grow the existing team and take on ownership of the full-stack from DevOps and infrastructure to our online platform to mobile development. You will know how to find and recruit exceptional employees and will have experience releasing new features quickly, in agile environment, and will know how to use great external contractors and experts to flex when needed.\n\nYou will lead a team of engineers, internal and external, making day-to-day design decisions and managing team development through usage of scrum best practices. You will design a development process that works and leads to fast product iterations that work across multiple continents for some of the most challenging environmental conditions. In the pat, you will have been an uber-efficient engineer and have years of battle scars to prove it.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities:\n\n\n* Build, manage, and grow EFL’s engineering team to develop new products in features in an agile environment\n\n* Chart the course for what technologies and frameworks EFL uses in infrastructure, mobile, and web components of the stack.\n\n* Work with EFL Executive Team and Product Managers to define and translate business and roadmap priorities into requirements and associated resource plans\n\n* Guide and lead the effort to translate requirements into functionality delivery through scoping, design, implementation, testing, and final delivery\n\n* Build prototypes or POCs as needed to accelerate development\n\n* Ability to cover all aspects of SaaS delivery, including documentation, delivery, customer escalations, etc.\n\n* Mentor team members to achieve success and professional goals\n\n\n\n\nLocation: We have offices in Boston and Lima, Peru. We have a global engineering team, but primarily it is located in both Boston and Peru.
