You will be part of the team responsible for the design, implementation and unit testing of core platform functions using a JRuby engine, Java OSGi bundles and AngularJS all running in a Java EE application server on a Linux appliance.\n\nThis positions focus will be on the client-side, UI/UX, of platform development.\n\nThe actual seniority level (I, II, or III) will be a assigned based on the candidate’s capabilities.\n\n\nResponsibilities of the Job\n\nImplement and Enhance Quality Software Components for the Extension Platform\n\n\n* Participates in cross-functional working groups with the architecture team to assist in product definition and design\n\n* Creates and maintains software design based on product requirements\n\n* Participates in software design reviews\n\n* Documents software design\n\n* Develops software based on design\n\n\n\n\nIncrease the Quality of Software, Improve the Usability and Reduce the Time to Deliver Extension Software\n\n\n* Follows established design and coding guidelines\n\n* Follows release management policies, procedures and work instructions\n\n* Creates supporting unit and functional tests for developed software\n\n* Conducts design and code peer reviews to ensure they meet Extension standards\n\n* Assists in creating or improving guidelines and best practices for software development\n\n* Assists in troubleshooting production issues when required\n\n* Provide software expertise to assist in product development and planning\n\n\n\n\nAssist in Development Planning\n\n\n* Works with the team lead in breaking down user stories into design tasks appropriate for implementing during a sprint\n\n* Participates in sprint planning meetings, assessing the level of effort of tasks with the team and accepting responsibility for completing the tasks they accept\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Engineer, Design, Developer, Digital Nomad, Java and Linux jobs that are similar:\n\n $65,000 — $120,000/year\n
