Remote Senior IT Internal Controls & SOX Compliance Analyst
\nWhat you’ll be responsible for:\n\nCircle is looking for an experienced Internal Controls and SOX Compliance Senior Analyst. Reporting to the VP of Internal Controls and SOX Compliance, this person will join a growing controls team and play a critical role in defining robust controls and processes as part of the company’s public company readiness efforts.\n\nWhat you'll work on:\n\n\n* Designing and identifying key controls for processes that impact financial reporting for the company. \n\n* Supporting and creating SOX ready documentation including narratives, flow charts, control descriptions, etc.\n\n* Developing and leading control procedure documentation and assess controls changed and/or consolidated as a result of different system implementations \n\n* Leading conversations understanding of both IT and Business processes and controls. \n\n* Designing and reviewing system implementation, data conversion, or data migration control controls (SDLC). \n\n* Conducting periodic reviews to ensure application controls and Segregation of Duties (SOD) are configured across the company's systems.\n\n* Developing and leading the company-wide repeatable process for both 302 and 404 assertions and reporting.\n\n* Working in tandem with the internal audit group to design testing programs to ensure appropriate SOX assertions can be made.\n\n* Supporting evaluation of third-party service providers for SOC reports.\n\n* Reviewing and designing appropriate internal controls for completeness and accuracy of reports and IPE.\n\n* Project managing control design for new products, processes and system implementation launches and ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place prior to launch.\n\n* Managing the Audit Board internal controls repository.\n\n* Reviewing, assessing, and evaluating reported control deficiencies, root causes, and planned corrective actions in conjunction with IT and business process owners.\n\n* Leading the company wide training of process and control owners and related functions with respect to internal controls and SOX compliance.\n\n* Playing a key role in annual and semiannual risk assessment processes.\n\n* Working with internal and external auditors to coordinate IT General Controls and automated controls testing, and process walkthroughs to streamline impact on the business and align test results and yield efficiencies.\n\n* Working closely with the IT, Security, Engineering, Data and Compliance teams to ensure IT General Control documentation and monitoring programs are consistent with SOX requirements.\n\n* Preparing materials and SOX compliance findings and assertions for Leadership and Audit Committee meetings.\n\n* Seeking to continuously improve the SOX program to become more efficient and effective through optimization and automation.\n\n\n\n\nYou will aspire to our four core values:\n\n\n* Multistakeholder - you have dedication and commitment to our customers, shareholders, employees and families and local communities.\n\n* Mindful - you seek to be respectful, an active listener and to pay attention to detail.\n\n* Driven by Excellence - you are driven by our mission and our passion for customer success which means you relentlessly pursue excellence, that you do not tolerate mediocrity and you work intensely to achieve your goals.\n\n* High Integrity - you seek open and honest communication, and you hold yourself to very high moral and ethical standards. About The Opportunity
The Principal Service Consultant guides the overall design and delivery of the Ceridian HCM solution to meet customer requirements and provides oversight and direction to project team members in the execution of project activities in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (planning, discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support). The Principal Service Consultant works closely with the Project Manager to plan the project and identify critical dependencies. Project responsibilities include; facilitation of customer requirements gathering, design of the Ceridian solution to meet documented customer requirements, setting and managing customer expectations, providing guidance and design/configuration oversight to other project resources, identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager.

Document best practices and share with the Practice
Lead the subject matter expert (SME) program in at least one area of expertise (Payroll, Benefits, WFM)
Regularly participate in internal process improvement initiatives
Focus on Continuing Education:
Contribute to internal knowledge share; review questions and provide feedback on a continuous basis
Participate in Continuing Education sessions, lead Implementation best practice sessions
Complete new release training on a timely basis; be fully versed on new and/or enhanced functionality in each product release
Mentor consultants on best practice implementation of new product features and functionality, including new customer end to end implementations
Support the sales cycle through solution review and feedback and assistance with scoping and estimation

Ability to effectively implement all Ceridian HCM modules
Expert knowledge of common human capital management (HCM) business practices

A Senior Product Designer at HappyCo is an integral part of a successful, high performing product team.
