The Role\n\nLeafLink is seeking a Senior Product Designer to help lead the design efforts for our Commerce solutions. This person should be passionate about collaborating with their colleagues and our customers to rapidly solve interesting, large-scale problems. We deal with large datasets, complex frequently-changing sales tax rules, and automating complex processes for thousands of business customers.\n\n*This is a full-time remote position, available to folks located in the US.\n\nAs a UX/UI Designer at TaxJar you will:\n\n\n* Be responsible for crafting modern, user-optimized experiences that help support and improve the efficiency of one of the biggest and fastest growing teams inside TaxJar\n\n* Work closely with our internal AutoFile Team and dedicated engineering teams\n\n* Take ownership of and improve the experience for our internal AutoFile tools and the repetitive nature of filings, issue management, and communication with customers\n\n* Lead the complete product development cycle through planning, design, testing, and eventually production release\n\n\n\n\n\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\n\n* 1-4 years UX/Design experience in SaaS or other business applications\n\n* Strong visual design, product design, usability, and communication skills\n\n* Demonstrable experience in product design at one or more successful SaaS companies\n\n* Someone who gets excited to jump on Zoom with stakeholders on other teams to get their insight\n\n* Ability to create complex user flows detailing user journeys\n\n* Ability to rapidly prototype to test and validate the team's design efforts using MarvelApp\n\n* Extreme attention to detail\n\n* Front-end experience with HTML, CSS / Sass, JavaScript (Vue.js / React) a strong plus, though not required\n\n* A portfolio that demonstrates the ability to design for all screen sizes from mobile to desktop\n\n* Comfort with writing clear, concise UI copy\n\n\n\n\nYou’ll be a great fit on our team if you\n\n\n* Only want to work remotely\n\n* Are accountable for the code you deliver to production\n\n* Are a PRO at communicating and collaboration\n\n* Highly value working with people you like and respect\n\n* Are accountable\n\n* Are confident in your skills and a solid team player (We’re peers here, no egos please) but also comfortable working asynchronously\n\n* Are hungry to play an impactful role and not afraid to fail\n\n\n\nWe’re a happy team and we all really love what we do.
