Assess network performance and troubleshoot any connectivity issues during the migration process. Provide expert guidance on network automation, security, and compliance considerations specific to the public sector agency. Stay updated on emerging cloud networking technologies and industry best practices. Designing and implementing networking solutions, troubleshooting network issues, and providing strategic advice for successful application migrations to the cloud.\nResponsibilities\n\n\n* Collaborate with clients to understand their application networking requirements, dependencies, and performance expectations for successful migrations\n\n* Collaborate with application teams, cloud architects, and engineers to ensure smooth integration of application networking components within the cloud environment\n\n* Experience with designing, maintaining, and provide subject matter expertise for network connections within and interfaces outside current network boundaries\n\n* Assess existing network architectures and design cloud networking solutions that ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance connectivity that adhere to industry regulations and compliance frameworks\n\n* Develop comprehensive network migration plans, including network discovery, assessment, and planning for transitioning application networks to the cloud\n\n* Design and implement cloud networking architectures, including virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, routing, load balancing, and connectivity options, aligning with best practices for application migration\n\n* Configure and optimize cloud networking services, including but not limited to Amazon VPC, AWS Transit Gateway, AWS Direct Connect, or AWS Network Firewall, to provide seamless and reliable network connectivity for migrated applications\n\n* Conduct network performance analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting during the migration process to identify and resolve connectivity and performance issues affecting application performance\n\n* Implement network security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and encryption, to protect application networking environments in the cloud.\n\n* Assist in evaluating and selecting appropriate network monitoring and management tools for cloud networking environments to ensure ongoing visibility and control\n\n* Stay updated with emerging cloud networking technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to application migrations to the cloud\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\n\n* Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in related discipline AND\n\n* Minimum Experience: 4 years' experience in networking preferably specialized cloud technologies OR\n\n* Substitution/Alternative to Minimum Education and Experience: Must have at least 12 years of on-the-job experience\n\n* Be able to work remotely but, be able to go on-site as requested and/or occasionally with potentially some form of post-pandemic cadence, on-site in Washington DC\n\n* AWS Professional Certifications – Advanced Networking Specialty or Solutions Architect and/or DevOps Certifications; The Seagram’s team manages a brand portfolio across the flavored malt beverage segment. About The Opportunity
The Principal Service Consultant guides the overall design and delivery of the Ceridian HCM solution to meet customer requirements and provides oversight and direction to project team members in the execution of project activities in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (planning, discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support). Applied Pharmacometrics Training Fellowship –Africa Region
The Applied Pharmacometrics Training Fellowship – Africa Region is a collaboration between Certara, Pharmacometrics Africa, CP+ Associates, together with several pharma industry and academic partners, to provide an intensive fellowship program for talented and motivated doctoral level scientists from Africa.
The program has 2 components:
Virtual Program – A 3-month virtual program (Q1 2023) that will provide fellows with exposure to leading edge pharmacometric model based analysis. The time commitment will be significant (e.g. a minimum of 20 hours per week over the duration of the Virtual Program.
Immersion Program – Upon completion of the Virtual Program, fellows will have the option to extend the program for another 3 months to an project-based program led by Certara and partners from pharma and academia. The program is designed to foster professional development through immersive training on all competencies required for regulatory quality pharmacometrics analyses and reports. Guided by industry mentors, the fellows will receive class-room training, are assigned individual jointly-agreed upon, precompetitive projects and participate in a leadership development program designed to enhance their decision-making and communication skills.
The Applied Pharmacometrics Training Fellowship – Africa Region aims to build scientific and leadership capability in Africa by enhancing the skills of local scientists and by facilitating knowledge transfer to their wider scientific communities. The relationships forged between the hosts of this program and the fellows' home institutions will further the endeavour to create next-generation medicines to ease suffering and improve quality of life for patient populations around the world. Successful participants in this program will be considered as candidates to join the consulting team for Certara located on-site in Africa.

Stipend and health insurance: health insurance and a monthly stipend to cover incidentals and basic living expenses.
Timelines & Location: The 3-month Virtual Program is planned to start in mid-January 2023. The start of the 3-month Immersion Program is planned for 2Q2023.

Eligibility to this program is based on the following criteria:
You have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g. pharmaceutical, medical or biological sciences, applied mathematics or statistics)
You have recently completed your PhD or equivalent studies (i.e. early to mid-career)
You should already have done at least 1 clinical pharmacology or pharmacometrics data analysis project using descriptive or a model-based methods
You have evidence of completing relevant courses on model-based analysis methods e.g. Pharmacometrics Africa courses or equivalent
You are a proficient English speaker and based in an African country
You have demonstrated strong team player skills

The Technical Support Specialist - DACH (AKA Customer Support Engineer (CSE)) is responsible for responding to customer issues across our Wdesk and Wdata platforms.
Support consists of troubleshooting issues with customers, identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding the customer through corrective steps.
A key component of this position will consist of providing technical and functional support to customers over the phone, chat or case management. A CSE provides product information and resolves most administrative and product problems which our customers face.
They are responsible for owning the customer experience and improving our ability as a business to support their dynamic needs.
What You'll Do
Customer Support: Support customers by providing technical and functional expertise over the phone, chat and case management.
Manages customer inquiries within the expected time frame and acts as the escalation point within Tier1 support, only escalating above themselves when required
Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every customer
Troubleshoots customer issues by utilizing knowledge of application, experience and by self-guided research of issues
Capable of resolving complex customer issues with minimal assistance from escalated assistance
Provides a high quality customer experience to produce or maintain raving fans
Contributes to improving the customer experience - offering ideas and being part of the improvement process to benefit the customer
Work with Customer Success, Professional Services, and all tiers of support to solve problems or identify opportunities - act as the POC for support
Train and mentor other engineers on the team - create accountability and professionalism within the team
Edit or write new documentation or customer facing content to represent the support experience
Lives the Workiva Values and Principals and guidelines on how to produce results and improve the business
What You'll Need
Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities
Ability to understand intermediate to advanced math concepts
Ability to communicate via email, phone, chat and other customer channels
Moderate technical aptitude, with high competency in using Google Drive, Microsoft Office Suite, OneCloud & Workiva products
Strong communication (verbal, listening and writing) skills
Self-motivated and accountable to results - ability to train others to demonstrate these same characteristics
Enjoys and excels at problem solving and assisting others
Able to allow for contingencies, prioritize multiple and potentially overlapping customer requirements
Proven ability to meet established timelines and service level agreements
Demonstrates strong sense of customer service with ability to identify customer needs and expectations and respond in a timely and effective manner
Represents the team as an advocate in cross-functional team meetings or projects
Helps to create and maintain a positive and vibrant culture in Support
Previous experience in accounting or finance preferred
1+ years experience in a support/service role for a financial services company or technical support organization
Nice to have, not required: Basic or Intermediate experience with database support or network security support
High school diploma required; associates or bachelor's degree preferred
Varying and overtime hours required during peak seasons
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.
Minimal travel
Must speak Business Level English and German
