Youโ€™ll work alongside product management and customer-facing teams to help address customer challenges and implement scalable, innovative solutions.\n\n\nIn this role, you will help drive growth and innovation in our decentralized finance and payments products by developing and optimizing software across a range of technologies. You will be joining a team of 8 (5 with technical background) with a live product with over 10,000 users already. As you work on building an innovative solution competing with products on a global scale, you will always be up to date on all the latest technologies and best practices, especially regarding the web3 space.</p>\n<p><strong>You will:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure the reliability and performance of our mobile and web based products, emphasizing the bridge between CeFi and DeFi opportunities.</li>\n<li>Create, manage, and optimize automated testing frameworks, ensuring our products&#39; continuous and flawless updates.</li>\n<li>Conduct thorough testing across various platforms, focusing on identifying bottlenecks, errors, and vulnerabilities to enhance throughput and execution flawlessness.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with FinTech and Blockchain industry partners to validate and assure the quality of integrated solutions, augmenting our product suite.</li>\n<li>Maintain active and open communication with the technical lead and team members, contributing insights and feedback on quality assurance strategies and product improvements.</li>\n<li>Lead and participate in peer reviews of test plans and related code to maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and adherence to best practices in QA.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2 id="requirements">Requirements</h2>\n<p>We do not focus on the time you have spent sitting in the lecture halls of this world but we want to understand what makes you feel comfortable, extraordinarily motivated and suitable to take over this position. As our European Supply Chain Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead the supply chain efforts for our European branches. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by providing KPIโ€™s back to the business leaders on their supply chain needs, including cost improvement metrics. So, what will you be doing as our European Supply Chain Manager?

  • Collaborate with L&P branches, Logistics offices and European service providers to execute shipments as required.
  • Develop an understanding and maintain documentation of L&P Branches / Suppliers and customers needs for shipping intra Europe and Internationally, including road freight, ocean freight, air freight, consolidation and deconsolidation needs and develop SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures) to ensure that such needs are met.
  • Maintain and develop positive business relationships with internal branchโ€™s key personnel involved in or directly relevant to Logistics activities.
  • Monitor performance of key external service providers. Communicate to management service failures and help develop action plans to correct for future shipments. Monitor implementation of process improvements.
  • Identify, evaluate & implement opportunities to leverage L&P volumes with current service providers utilizing multiple business units.
  • Coordinate project analysis, bids, etc. for existing business units with existing or potential service providers.
  • Assist with new service provider set ups through SOPโ€™s and required service provider documents.
  • Collaborate with Business unit Purchasing & Sales departments and Logistics offices as necessary to meet customer requirements
  • Develop & Incorporate KPIโ€™s to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement with freight forwarders, ocean carriers against benchmarks and service agreements to improve support for our business units. Report findings along with suggested improvement solutions on a quarterly basis.
  • Provide feedback updates regarding market details for air, ocean and intra Europe trucking to management & Business Units.
  • Work with Logistics systems, Accounting & other Logistics offices to ensure visibility & financial data integrity of shipments.
  • Report cost savings / cost avoidance opportunities to management.


To be successful in this role, youโ€™ll need:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Management, Operations Management, or related field, or suitable combination of education and training
  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience in the transportation and logistics industry, including 2+ years in a management role
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite applications.
  • Excellent organization skills, proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • You can read, write and speak English fluently.

Things we consider a plus:

  • 3-4 yearsโ€™ experience working directly with/for Freight Forwarders to support ocean & air shipments

Job Description

The Study Director reports to the VP of Lithium Development Projects and is responsible for planning, tracking, reporting, monitoring, and task assigning and self-performance of project activities assuring that the overall project study requirements are met in accordance with the Albemarle project study framework.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Formulate a project study deliverables plan
  • Assign required internal and external resources to the study plan
  • Management of project resources through the study cycle, coordination and administration, utilizing the Albemarle standards specific to the phase of the project
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments to track progress to plan and provide accurate progress updates to Albemarle Management, in specific earnt value of work completed and forecasted, forecasted future financial outflows for financial year planning
  • Compile regular (monthly, quarterly, yearly) progress reports and portfolio updates as may be required by the Albemarle project management office and finance department
  • Set in place the formulation of the key building blocks of a project study in accordance with the specific study phase criteria contained in the Albemarle APP to support an investment case.
The key items specifically of focus for the study manager to assemble, coordinate or create include:
  • The Opportunity/Problem Statement
  • The alternatives considered to produce an investment case
  • The technical solutions or technologies available in support of the proposed alternatives
  • Business risk assessment of the alternatives and project scope
  • Defining the ultimate project scope
  • Project Approval approach
  • Project execution strategy and plan
  • Project time and cost estimates
  • Project risk assessments for each phase, and outcomes ranging, and
  • Financial modeling and investment case compilation
  • Coordinate the study outputs and document in the format of a study report and recommendations,
  • Manage the process of internal and external reviews of the project study report, project peer reviews and risk reviews
  • Provide project leadership to deliver sustainable outcomes whilst achieving project delivery on โ€œtimeโ€ on โ€œbudgetโ€ on โ€œscopeโ€
  • Ensure conformance with the Albemarle Code of Conduct and relevant statutory obligations;

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Engineering
  • Post Grad Project Management Studies

Our Pharmacometricians are responsible for providing expertise into clinical development plans, including the design, conduct, and interpretation of relevant clinical pharmacology and PK/PD studies. Qualified candidates will have the ability to work on a variety of therapeutic indications and data types with an adequate understanding of applied population PK and PK/PD modeling and simulation to support drug development programs.


Responsibilities


  • Deepen their strategic drug development expertise and their experience informing drug development decisions.
  • Perfect their pharmacometric techniques with fit-for-purpose modeling approaches such as population PK and PK/PD modeling, target-mediated drug disposition TMDD) models, dose- and exposure-response analyses.
  • Broaden their drug development expertise by working with a myriad of companies, molecular modalities, and therapeutic areas.
  • Develop their consulting career path by recognizing and seeking opportunities that match their ambition and personal interests.
  • Support projects for Certaraโ€™s clients by working in teams with other Associates, senior expert modelers, and drug development consultants.
  • Hands on pharmacometric modeling on client projects as a billable consultant.
  • Continuing education on advanced modeling and simulation approaches, with an emphasis on methods appropriate for small molecules and/or complex biologics, (bispecific biologics, chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapies, and immuno-oncology therapies).
  • Conduct quality control activities on model codes and reports.
  • Support projects for Certaraโ€™s clients by working in teams with other Associates, senior expert modelers, and drug development consultants.
  • Hands on pharmacometric modeling on client projects as a billable consultant.
  • Continuing education on advanced modeling and simulation approaches, with an emphasis on methods appropriate for small molecules and/or complex biologics, (bispecific biologics, chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapies, and immuno-oncology therapies).
  • Conduct quality control activities on model codes and reports.


Qualifications


  • MSc, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of industry/consulting experience (may be combined with academic research) working in R&D, pre-clinical and clinical environments.
  • Solid experience in pharmacometrics, clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, or a related discipline in a project team setting is preferred, whether in academia or industry.
  • Expertise in PK/PD modeling with strong quantitative skills applied to develop models with nonlinear behavior, mechanistic or semi-mechanistic components relating to mechanism of action and tailored to meet specific drug-development questions.
  • Proficiency in software used for modeling analyses (e.g. Phoenix NLME, NONMEM, Adapt, Monolix) and performs dataset construction (e.g. R, SAS).
  • Independent performance of analysis and modeling and development of reports with limited supervision.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English. Certara is a global company, and additional languages are of benefit.
