We are looking for a QA to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. The responsibilities include understanding system requirements, designing and implementing tests and in some cases debugging and defining corrective actions. This also includes creating a test framework and/or integrating with other test frameworks. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)\n\n \n\nYou will: \n\n\n* Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback\n\n* Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases\n\n* Create System, Resiliency and Performance verification test plans and test cases\n\n* Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities\n\n* Design, implement develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools\n\n* Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs\n\n* Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved\n\n* Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs\n\n* Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements\n\n* Monitor debugging process results\n\n* Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions\n\n* Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts\n\n* Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies\n\n\n\n\n \n\nYou have:\n\n\n* 5+ Years of industry experience\n\n* BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject\n\n* Proven work experience in software quality assurance\n\n* Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes\n\n* Must have Programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.\n\n* Relational or non relational databases experience, including MySQL and Cassandra.\n\n* Self-starter, with ability to perform QA Duties with minimal supervision.\n\n* Experience testing REST based API’s\n\n* Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases\n\n* Experience  in Automation Framework (Cypress, PlayWright, PyTest)\n\n* Experience is QA automation tools, frameworks, and libraries\n\n* Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing\n\n* Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and libraries (TestNG)\n\n* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process\n\n* Experience with performance, resiliency and/or security testing is a plus\n\n* Experience working with Chaos Monkey, JMeter is a plus\n\n* Knowledge of CI/CD and experience working with Jenkins or similar tools.\n\n* Strong preference to candidates with experience testing integration of telephony, CRM, or CTI applications\n\n* Experience working with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Microsoft Azure\n\n* Excellent Analytical Skills with detailed understanding of SDLC especially with Agile development methodology\n\n* Experience with Kafka and Elasticsearch is huge plus\n\n* Understands process and sees value in automation and efficiency\n\n* Strong problem solving experience being able to come up with solutions including collaborating with 3rd party engineering teams.\n\n\n\n\n \n\n \n\nBenefits: \n\nThe salary range for this role will be between $86000 to $105,000.
