She is supported by a world-class Board of Directors, including Aileen Lee (Founder and Managing Partner at Cowboy Ventures), Jess Lee (Partner at Sequoia Capital), Jessica Ross (CFO of Frontdoor), and Sarah Nahm (Co-Founder and Former CEO of Lever).\nJoin us to create the change we want to see!\n\n\nAbout the Role\nAs the Manager, Data & Impact, you will employ data expertise, business acumen, and systems knowledge to empower All Raise to measure and narrate our impact. To do this, you will help each team track, analyze, and report on internal data to accurately assess performance of our business. You will create and manage software integrations, provide diligent implementation oversight, and establish a process that ensures data ends up in a single, accessible place. And finally, you will work with our data partners to review industry-level data to identify key insights that elevate the need for our work in VC and tech. \n\n\nSuccess for this role looks like the following: \n- Within the first 30 days, you will learn the business and conduct a comprehensive review of our tools and systems, eventually making a recommendation about how teams should track, analyze, and report data. \n- Within the first 60 days, you are creating and enforcing processes and building reports and dashboards with insights into each team's metrics. \n- Within the first 90 days, you will be comfortable analyzing larger datasets from partners and sharing insights about the industry. \n\n\nThis role will report to the VP of Strategic Operations and work cross-functionally with each All Raise team to identify their needs, build key reports, and ensure they get or have access to the data they need. \n\n\nThis is a full-time, remote role. Team members participate in offsites throughout the year and are expected to attend in person. Travel to the VC Summit, Chapter events, industry conferences, etc. is also expected.\n\n\n\nAs our Manager, Data & Impact you will:\n* Translate keen data analysis into strategic actions for All Raise. About The Role

The transportation industry has no shortage of complex problems requiring creative solutions to scale efficiently. In this role, you will help support customer data needs through training and reporting from Mastery's Transportation Management System (TMS). In addition, you will help support the internal reporting needs of the commercial team.

Reporting to the Manager of Customer Data Insights, the Customer Data Analyst will leverage technical skills to perform data discovery, build reports and respond to ad hoc data requests across the Customer Success Team. You will work with internal stakeholders to understand reporting needs and issues, then communicate recommendations and resolutions in a timely manner.

As a Customer Data Analyst, you will operate with an investigative mindset, proactively looking out for our client's data needs, interpreting trends and suggesting new and innovative ways to the Customer Success Managers to keep their clients succeeding with Mastermind TMS. Working closely with Product and Data Engineering on defect management, client specific logic and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders during data discovery to identify gaps
  • Author and maintain dashboards via Masteryโ€™s chosen front end application to support internal stakeholders with their clients through all phases of the customer relationship process: engagement, onboarding, implementation, support, & success
  • Troubleshoot root causes for discrepancies to work towards data consistency
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as part of the Customer Success model as Mastermind issues arise
  • Educate and train internal stakeholders as well as clients on how to use our self-service reporting tools to deliver insights into their daily business operations
  • Manage day-to-day tasks and communication with internal and external stakeholders on outstanding data defects and requests
  • Translate client reporting needs into requirements, submit requests on their behalf and work with product to prioritize all client data requests to ensure we are meeting deadlines and staying aligned with Masteryโ€™s product offering
  • Manage customer success through relationship building, data expertise, and problem solving
Requirements
  • Proficient at crafting SQL queries
  • Experience building executive reports, data visualizations, and self-service dashboards in at least one modern BI tool (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.)
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify data warehouse and reporting requirements
  • Proficient understanding of relational data models and data warehouse practices
  • Exposure to relational database management systems RDBMS (e.g., PostgresSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.) and/or cloud-based data stores (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, etc.)
  • 2 Years+ experience as a data analyst or similar role
  • 2 Years+ Transportation and Supply Chain experience required
  • Experience with customer facing analytics preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Ability to travel preferred

This may include creating talent profiles for succession planning reviews, helping to support leadership development programs, supporting the analysis of coaching and team building assessment data, delivering training courses, creating project plans and presentations, and supporting the technology behind virtual training. This individual must have a strong analytical approach to problem solving, as well as a flexible and collaborative working style and be comfortable with tools and technology. The work requires the individual to be highly adaptable to change, produce high quality deliverables, and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholder groups. Job Responsibilities


  • Support the department senior director in coordinating with key stakeholders across the organization for various talent development programs
  • Provide analytical support, research and knowledge management for various talent development and training activities, to include leadership development programs, succession planning processes, coaching, mentoring, internships, and assessments
  • Develop and manage project plans for key projects and programs within the talent development portfolio
  • Support instructor-led training and facilitation of virtual and live meetings/training sessions on various topics
  • Support the development of training presentations, PowerPoint presentations, summary reports
  • Assist in execution of training, which includes administration and tracking of required training, such as compliance and ethics modules
  • Coordinate with external vendors for online training platforms and tools
  • Perform research to identify external speakers, seminars, trainings, and partnerships to enhance existing training and development portfolio
  • Support the development and delivery of training materials as needed, including presentations, user guides, instructor guides, communications, and job aids
  • Coordinate training and talent development program logistics and communicate with participants as needed
  • Monitor key success measures to include feedback surveys, engagement surveys, and other talent development metrics to include data analysis
  • Create a knowledge repository of training content, library of templates and career resources for employees
  • Leverage tools and technology such as Power BI, Microsoft Forms, Microsoft Teams and learning management systems


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:


  • You must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID-19.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years professional talent development, organizational effectiveness and/or leadership training experience (Required)
  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelorโ€™s Degree in: Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or other related area (Required)
  • Must have experience in training and talent development
  • Must have strong facilitation, communications presentation skills both in person and virtually
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills (including PowerPoint and training content creation)
  • Must have a keen understanding of stakeholder needs; ability to communicate effectively with all internal stakeholders; ability to work well in a team atmosphere
  • Must have the ability to travel occasionally (up to 20-25%)


Preferred Qualifications


  • Masterโ€™s Degree in: Training & Development, Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, Leadership, or other related area (Preferred)
  • Certifications in coaching and assessments (i.e. Korn Ferry, Center for Creative Leadership) is preferred
  • Experience in leadership development curriculum curation/development
  • Experience using tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Forms, etc.
