Position Overview\n\nEducate!, is looking for a Head of Partnership Engagement to help us reach our goal of impacting millions of youth annually. As Head of Partnership Engagement, you will be a key member of the External Relations team that builds relationships with funders and other potential partners. While this job has a fundraising component, we are not looking for a traditional business development professional. Relationship management framework to both own independent relationships and drive forward key relationships owned by the CEO. \n\n* Learns and is accountable for the Educate way of relationship management, with a focus on:\n\n\n* Responsiveness: Always respond to any message or request within 24 hours (and ideally within 4-6 hours if itโs within business day) - even if just to say when youโll have an update. Always confirm that youโre working on it for things that might take longer. \n\n* Proactive, frequent, and strategic communications: Generally, we want to have a personalized interaction of some type with all live relationships at least once a quarter. The time when someone receives your communication matters (best between 11 am Monday and 4 pm Thursday), use the โschedule to sendโ feature!\n\n* Strategic prep for meetings: We never go into our funder interactions cold, we always have a strategy and a good prep document. Every interaction meaningfully moves forward our relationship in a specific way.\n\n* Prompt follow up: After any interaction, follow up within 24 hours, and sooner if possible (ideally immediately).\n\n* Effective record-keeping: Take notes during or immediately after interactions, and make sure these notes are sent and stored in Salesforce (ideally within 24 hours). Externally\n\n\n* Own relationships with important funders and payers; support the CEO in meetings and relationships with the highest-level staff\n\n* Speak on panels or at conferences about Educate!โs work.\n\n* Network and build relationships at conferences and events, with excellent follow-up that ensures movement into active relationships.\n\n* Identify new funding opportunities through calls for proposals and building a network of contacts at key funders.\n\n* Build a reputation as a thought partner and advisor to potential partners and relevant institutions.\n\n* Understand the inner workings of partner organizations and identify changes in strategy and new opportunities.\n\n\n\n\nOperationalize Agreements\n\n\n* Collaborate with internal teams to understand the requirements and expectations of funders.\n\n* Coordinate the implementation of agreements, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and internal policies.\n\n* Monitor and track progress against agreement milestones and deliverables.\n\n* Provide regular updates to funders on project status, including financial reporting and impact assessments.\n\n* Identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the implementation of agreements.\n\n* Support the development of funding proposals and reports to funder\n\n\n\nQualifications \n\n\n* A minimum of 5-7 years total work experience, with increasing responsibility and independence\n\n* Ability to develop and implement strategic partnership and fundraising plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives.\n\n* Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including donors, partners, and colleagues.\n\n* Comfortable working with a remote team and partners\n\n* A well-honed sense of professional judgment, integrity, and accountability: Youโll be responsible for some of our most mission-critical workflows, a dynamic team, and some of our most valuable and sensitive relationships. \n\n\n\nWhat Is Educate! The Learning and Development Professional will support the creation and execution of talent development activities in a newly forming department focused on developing the leaders and employees of the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and grow with a new team that is introducing learning and development opportunities to help people reach their career goals and coach them along their journey. This may include creating talent profiles for succession planning reviews, helping to support leadership development programs, supporting the analysis of coaching and team building assessment data, delivering training courses, creating project plans and presentations, and supporting the technology behind virtual training. Job Responsibilities
Support the department senior director in coordinating with key stakeholders across the organization for various talent development programs
Provide analytical support, research and knowledge management for various talent development and training activities, to include leadership development programs, succession planning processes, coaching, mentoring, internships, and assessments
Develop and manage project plans for key projects and programs within the talent development portfolio
Support instructor-led training and facilitation of virtual and live meetings/training sessions on various topics
Support the development of training presentations, PowerPoint presentations, summary reports
Assist in execution of training, which includes administration and tracking of required training, such as compliance and ethics modules
Coordinate with external vendors for online training platforms and tools
Perform research to identify external speakers, seminars, trainings, and partnerships to enhance existing training and development portfolio
Support the development and delivery of training materials as needed, including presentations, user guides, instructor guides, communications, and job aids
Coordinate training and talent development program logistics and communicate with participants as needed
Monitor key success measures to include feedback surveys, engagement surveys, and other talent development metrics to include data analysis
Create a knowledge repository of training content, library of templates and career resources for employees
Leverage tools and technology such as Power BI, Microsoft Forms, Microsoft Teams and learning management systems
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 4 years professional talent development, organizational effectiveness and/or leadership training experience (Required)
Must have a minimum of a Bachelorโs Degree in: Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or other related area (Required)
Must have experience in training and talent development
Must have strong facilitation, communications presentation skills both in person and virtually
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills (including PowerPoint and training content creation)
Must have a keen understanding of stakeholder needs; ability to communicate effectively with all internal stakeholders; ability to work well in a team atmosphere
Must have the ability to travel occasionally (up to 20-25%)
Preferred Qualifications
