What is the job?
Looking for challenging responsibilities in the most promising tech industry? Join us as the first QA Automation Engineer (in this particular product team) in the crypto financial industry, and you will get the most out of using new technologies and test methods.
You will accelerate your career and constantly improve technically by tackling these issues and being able to utilize the personal ยฃ2000/year budget for learning & development.
You will challenge all user scenarios and test cases to investigate all possibilities of failure across a range of Web apps, and API applications. You will make sure that happy path scenarios function as advertised, and that a massive array of potential error conditions all fail gracefully, predictably and in a meaningful way to end users.ย
During your first few months, you will start by defining the tools and frameworks required to have a complete suite of automated tests. This will involve diving into the applications features and functionality, rolling up your sleeves doing manual testing. With a better understanding under your belt, you will define test plans that can beย automated and cover UI and API testing, as well as testing failures in any of the subsystems, including databases, third-party services or other internal services.
What are we looking for?
You enjoy automating everything, the thought of repeating tasks manually makes you shiver, but you understand the need to do exploratory manual testing to create test plans.
You have experience testing Web apps, APIs applications in a fast delivering growth environment.
You are a hands-on, independent product tester with experience working in a multidisciplinary team formed of designers, Front and Backend developers and DevOps.
Youโre patient when dealing with others. Youโre a good listener, and happy to be a teacher when needed.
What skills do you need?
You have solid demonstrable experience as a QA Automation Engineer doing end-to-end testing.
You love breaking things and let your creativity go wild (e.g. functional and black-box testing, regression testing, system integration testing, load testing, manual testing).
You are proficient in at least one programming/scripting language such as Python, C#, Java or JavaScript.
Experience with BDD, TDD, or contract testing.
Docker and Git experience is important.
You have good knowledge and understanding of CI/CD cycles and integration test automation with CI/CD.
Who are we?ย
At RDX Works, weโre a team of like-minded thinkers who have long been convinced that weโre living in the earliest stages of a global financial revolution. This revolution is being fuelled by decentralized finance (or DeFi for short), which is enabling an assortment of pioneering developers and entrepreneurs to re-invent almost every financial product that is currently traded and invested in traditional markets, without requiring central authorities or siloed infrastructure. DeFi has captured a great deal of attention and investment in the crypto-aware niche, growing assets under management from $1 billion to over $200ย billion in a few years. Impressive as its growth has been, its current market size isnโt even a rounding error on the over $400 trillion held in traditional finance. Weโre focused on what it will take to go from billions to trillions.
RDX went back to first principles to come up with the right technical solutionโthe first layer-one protocol built specifically for mainstream DeFiโand we have already tested out at over 1 million transactions per second. Weโre keenly aware that the need for an infinitely scalable platform is only one prerequisite among many for mass adoption, and weโre also blazing new ground in the areas of purpose-built developer tools, user experiences, and regulatory integration.
We have forged a path deep into the future of what distributed ledger technology is going to look like and we need you to come and be part of the team that is making that happen right now.
If this job sounds like it was made for you, then please apply directly via the link or email [email protected] for more information.
Alternatively, if you feel like you donโt match all of the requirements, we would love you to still apply anyway. We understand that confidence gaps and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting incredible candidates and we wouldnโt want this to prevent us from meeting you; especially as we are big advocates of helping people learn & grow. This is also another reason we do not advertise salaries, we want to keep it as even a playing field as possible!

What is the job?ย
Looking for a fresh new high-tech environment? Then our innovate distributed ledger technology is exactly what you need, as it challenges you with next-level data structures and Byzantine fault tolerance.ย
You will accelerate your career and constantly improve technically by tackling these issues and being able to utilize the personal ยฃ2000/year budget for learning & development.ย
You get to do all the fun stuff. No turning reams of procedural business logic into code for you! Your days will be filled with hard, interesting problems -ย thinking through all the ways things can go wrong and coming up with solutions which are both elegant and practical - and then turning these into code. You will meddle with dark powers best left untouched, learn more about decentralized systems than you dreamed was possible, and work with an inspiring team of incredible people. You will make your mother proud, even if youโre never quite able to properly explain to her what it is you built!
What are we looking for?ย
You are a prolific, confident coder, and are persistent in working problems to resolution.
You possess strong attention to detail, and are rarely surprised by unconsidered edge cases.
Youโve used generic types so much that the angle bracket keys on your keyboard are beginning to wear away.
You are unafraid of working in a space where there is little prior art to refer to.
You enjoy talking through tough problems with smart people, and are happy to accept ideas and approaches that you didnโt personally come up with.
What do you need?
You have solid commercial experience as a Software Developer.
You know Java as your second mother tongue.
You are curious about the Rustacean way of life.
You find distributed systems and asynchronous programming models exciting.
You sometimes dream about coding and the complexity of computer science.

What is the job?ย
No matter how powerful and flexible you build a platform, at the end of the day itโs the applications you present to the user that define how they perceive it. RDX Works is seeking an Android guru to build the wallet that will define the future of decentralized finance (DeFi).
We have spent the better part of a year researching and testing what the DeFi user experience ought to be, starting with a blank sheet of paper and working our way up to a nearly-complete design.ย Now itโs time to move from prototypes to the real implementation.
Starting out, you will absorb the research, design, and user testing which has taken place over the last year, and then get cracking on converting Figma to code alongside a top-notch team of developers and designers.ย Expect to have a great deal of input on shaping the ultimate design as implementation marches along to our first release, and then to apply everything youโve learned on shaping the next release.
What are we looking for?ย
You have been a big part of at least one consumer-facing Android application which made it to production.
You are a confident coder, and you enjoy working in Kotlin and Java.
Youโre comfortable working without a net.ย Some of the concepts weโre implementing are world firsts, and thereโs no prior art to fall back on or Stack Overflow posts to trawl for help.
You are intelligent and learn quickly.
You enjoy a good design debate and can keep an open mind to ideas which go against your own notion of how a problem should be solved.
What do you need?
Essentials:
4+ years as a professional software developer.
2+ years of Android development.
An application on Google Play you can point to and explain your part in it.
Nice-to-haves:
Some history as a consumer of DeFi; familiarity with the current web3 user experience is a big plus.ย E.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.
Prior experience collaborating with a design team via a tool like Figma, Sketch, InVision, Zeplin, or similar will stand you in good stead.
Being noddingly familiar with the practical aspects of asymmetric cryptography and zero-knowledge proofs will greatly accelerate you up the learning curve.ย The theoretical underpinnings are less important for this role than the practical applications of said theory.

Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
As an SDET at Radix, you will apply your boundless cunning to break distributed systems in new and interesting ways.ย You will study and emulate known attacks, and then concoct some new ones.ย You will make sure that happy path scenarios function as advertised, and that a massive array of potential error conditions all fail gracefully, predictably, and in a recoverable fashion.
During your first few months, your focus will be on creating automated tests verifying predictable pre- and post-conditions against a distributed, trustless system while coming up to speed on how the network operates and where the limitations are.ย With that understanding under your belt, youโll start in on chaos testing and acting as a knowledgeable, malicious actor on our test networks.
Of course, youโll also be contributing to test plans, highlighting gaps in coverage, creating regression tests to ensure fixed bugs stay fixed, and all the usual responsibilities of a test role.ย Youโll just have more fun doing those things, because we only hire fun and interesting people to work with.ย Your brain will bend in ways it wasnโt meant to be bent, you will form lifelong bonds with a team of incredible people, and you will forever remember the journey.
About You
Whenever you look at a specification or an API, your mind goes straight to the edge cases.
Youโre a flexible coder and are confident in your ability to learn โenough to be dangerousโ if you need to pick up a new language or tool.
If asked about a familiar product or system, you have no trouble describing the various sub-systems that contribute to its overall function.
You donโt get easily frustrated when trying to nail down difficult-to-reproduce issues.ย You are able to methodically narrow a bug investigation down to the critical elements.
Youโre intelligent and you pick up new concepts quickly.ย A lot of what we do here is rolling back the boundaries of known space, and thereโs no playbook to refer to.
What skills do you need?
At least 3 years in a quality assurance or development role for production software.
Experience building test automation frameworks. Can write such code from scratch.
Can integrate tests in CI, e.g., Jenkins.
Experience with load testing.
Familiarity with JVM languages, JavaScript, or Python.
Understanding or experience with BDD, TDD, or contract testing.
Docker and AWS experience is important.
Nice to have - experience with distributed systems.

What is the job?
Peter Drucker once said:
โBecause the purpose of business is to create a customer, the business enterprise has two--and only two--basic functions: marketing and innovation. Marketing and innovation produce results; all the rest are costs. Marketing is the distinguishing, unique function of the business."
And you know what makes marketing particularly unique? Effective storytelling.
We are blessed at RDX Works to support the most innovative decentralized network in the world. Yes, itโs a bold claim, but once youโve had your #RadixRevelation, youโll understand why.
And then youโll understand your mission: To use the power of words to paint pictures, connect with people of all kinds, move them, and help them reach their own personal #RadixRevelation.
What are we looking for?
You know how to write great ad copy.
You are smart and witty. You grasp complex concepts of both technical and economic natures and then identify ways to succinctly capture them, with a strong layer of emotion, in short, effective communications.
You are a scriptwriter.
You can interview multiple stakeholders and then create an effective story to form the heroic tale that underlies and accompanies a video or a presentation.
You write great blog posts.
You know how to be both a reporter and a journalist. You can take a piece of news and make it sexy and enticing. Not only that, you can make it a story that is memorable and worth sharing.
Youโre a marketer.
You can work with the product team and product marketing team to understand the benefits of features and then write engaging marketing copy for brochures, flyers, and one-pagers.
You are a deep thinker.
Youโre not afraid of collaborating with thought leaders to write pieces that open minds to new horizons. Whitepapers donโt scare you. They fire you up.
What do you need?
A portfolio of inspiring creative work showcasing conceptual thinking and strong written skills, particularly when it comes to emerging technologies.
Ability to create work in multiple styles across print and digital
Proven ability that you โgetโ marketing and are a โstudent of the game.โ
Proven ability that you have a crypto-native mindset or, at least, are committed to the crypto journey.

What is the job?ย
Crypto currency and decentralized finance (DeFi) are disruptive, visible, and rapidly growing areas of finance. Weโre looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our security team, and tackle the unique security challenges our industry faces.
In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Cyber Security, supporting all areas of the business. Good security data drives informed business decisions, and this role is critical in delivering the actionable security data we need.ย
Weโre a small organisation thatโs growing fast, within a high-risk industry that faces regulatory challenges: weโre looking for people who want the fast rate of change and complexity that comes with this territory. Facing capable and sophisticated threats, we need innovative open-minded people to help us deal with them.
What are we looking for?ย
You will enjoy working in an ambitious, fast-paced environment that requires critical and strategic thinking, and a willingness to collaborate to create highly visible work across multiple channels.
Working directly with the Head of Cyber Security, you will take visible ownership of security solutions and activities across the entire company, including:
Day to day security operations โ monitoring and responding to security alerts and events.
Supporting the security team with new research, analysis, and programmes of change within the company.
Configure and manage security tooling used to protect company data, assets, and people.
Ongoing management and configuration of security tooling.
Support the devops team, and the wider business, with their security problems and questions.
Youโll be identifying new security trends, in both attack and defence, and be responsible for leading appropriate responses.
What do you need?
We have no formal education or certification requirements - the quality of your past work and skills will speak for itself.
You will need to have excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills โ be prepared to show these off in the interview.
Evidence of ongoing work within the security ecosystem (e.g. GitHub projects, involvement in open source projects, or security research).
Good English verbal communication skills.
Assertive, passionate and not afraid to challenge conventions โ strong opinions, loosely held.
Willingness and enthusiasm to learn, thrive and adapt in the fast-paced crypto services arena we operate within.ย
Ideally you will have operational experience with Google Workspaces, AWS, and a SIEM solution.
Solid understanding of the risks and threats SaaS and Cloud based services face โ and how to deal with them.
Youโll need to demonstrate familiarity with MDM solutions, and understand security issues around end user devices like laptops and mobile phones, for a remote workforce.
Nice to haves:ย
Prior experience in FinTech and/or crypto is highly desirable โ be prepared to explain how crypto currencies work, and the common security challenges.
Experience with Palo Alto products and technologies is an advantage.
Familiarity with encryption techniques and distributed teams, and a keen understanding of cryptocurrency, are distinct advantages.

During your first few months, your focus will be on creating automated tests verifying predictable pre- and post-conditions against a distributed, trustless system while coming up to speed on how the network operates and where the limitations are. With that understanding under your belt, youโll start in on chaos testing and acting as a knowledgeable, malicious actor on our test networks.
Of course, youโll also be contributing to test plans, highlighting gaps in coverage, creating regression tests to ensure fixed bugs stay fixed, and all the usual responsibilities of a test role. Youโll just have more fun doing those things, because we only hire fun and interesting people to work with. Your brain will bend in ways it wasnโt meant to be bent, you will form lifelong bonds with a team of incredible people, and you will forever remember the journey.
About You
Whenever you look at a specification or an API, your mind goes straight to the edge cases.
Youโre a flexible coder and are confident in your ability to learn โenough to be dangerousโ if you need to pick up a new language or tool.
If asked about a familiar product or system, you have no trouble describing the various sub-systems that contribute to its overall function.
You donโt get easily frustrated when trying to nail down difficult-to-reproduce issues. You are able to methodically narrow a bug investigation down to the critical elements.
Youโre intelligent and you pick up new concepts quickly. A lot of what we do here is rolling back the boundaries of known space, and thereโs no playbook to refer to.
About Us
At RDX Works (formally Radix DLT), we're a team of like-minded thinkers who have long been convinced that we're living in the earliest stages of a global financial revolution. This revolution is being fuelled by decentralized finance (or DeFi for short), which is enabling an assortment of pioneering developers and entrepreneurs to re-invent almost every financial product that is currently traded and invested in traditional markets, without requiring central authorities or siloed infrastructure. DeFi has captured a great deal of attention and investment in the crypto-aware niche, growing assets under management from $1 billion to $40 billion in less than a year. Impressive as its growth has been, its current market size isn't even a rounding error on the over $111 trillion held in traditional finance. We're focused on what it will take to go from billions to trillions.
RDX went back to first principles to come up with the right technical solutionโthe first layer-one protocol built specifically for mainstream DeFiโand we have already tested out at over 1 million transactions per second. We're keenly aware that the need for an infinitely scalable platform is only one prerequisite among many for mass adoption, and we're also blazing new ground in the areas of purpose-built developer tools, user experiences, and regulatory integration.
We have forged a path deep into the future of what distributed ledger technology is going to look like and we need you to come and be part of the team that is making that happen right now.

What is the job?
As a DevOps Engineer at RDX Works, you will lovingly maintain our (your!) virtual infrastructure, while supporting the needs of our different stakeholders, which range from a collection of community node runners to developers and SDETs.
You will begin in familiar territory, performing care and feeding for dozens of virtual machines and Kubernetes clusters while gathering performance data and tuning for the CPU/memory/disk sweet spot which best balances performance and cost.
Youโll participate in the continuous improvement of our current monitoring and alerting system, so that we know when things are going awry and can take action.
After you have a handle on how to keep things running smoothly, as part of the DevOps team you will engage with members of the different developer teams and node runners, always devising best practises for running Radix nodes and other RDX applications on a variety of cloud platforms.
You will participate in our on-call rotation process, to ensure that someone from RDX is always available to investigate a disruption in service. You will respond to alerts and track them to resolution, while learning from incidents and feed suggestions back to our internal DevOps, SDET, and developer teams and improving our internal operational rulebook.
What are we looking for?
You have maintained production systems on virtual infrastructure, and you possess a healthy collection of war stories from past disasters.
You have a wealth of knowledge about Docker which you never get to use at parties.
Youโre handy with an assortment of scripting languages, ideally Python or Bash.
You have a deep-seated need to automate things. The idea of doing a repeatable process manually is abhorrent to you.
Youโre patient when dealing with others. Youโre a good listener, and happy to be a teacher when needed.
You are a tenacious sleuth, able to persistently research and reason about difficult-to-reproduce problems until you have brought them to a satisfactory resolution.
What do you need?
Min 5 years experience in a DevOps role
Production experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure (We use AWS)
Strong familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
Familiar with agile processes
Experience working with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana Stack
Hands on experience with a scripting language
Comfortable with at least one infrastructure-as-code tool, such as Ansible and Terraform
Comfortable configuring and managing at least one popular Linux distribution.
Things That Will Really Help You Stand Out
Proven history of managing clustered/distributed environments
Proven history of node running at scale for any blockchain/distributed ledger
Have experience with Kubernetes
Chaos engineering is not alien to you

What is the job?
No matter how powerful and flexible you build a platform, at the end of the day itโs the tools and services you present to the user that define the experience. Radix is seeking a veteran, .NET developer to build the systems that will define the future of decentralized finance (DeFi).
DeFi has turned out to be the killer app that is taking public distributed ledgers from niche products for speculators and hobbyists to projects of global economic significance, and with it has come a new paradigm for user experiences. Authentication models, interoperability expectations, and the entire concept of user accounts are all undergoing dramatic changes; at Radix youโll have the opportunity to define the way forward while working at the very cutting edge of a space undergoing furious growth
Working from a coherent vision, step by step you will turn requirements into top-notch products working with ace developers and testers through rapid cycles of implementation, feedback gathering, and tuning to produce delightful results. You will come face to face with all the nuances and complexities of asynchronous processing of payment transactions. No architectural decision will be made without your participation. Constant challenges will become an integral part of your working day and boring coding will remain a scary memory.
About you
You are adept at going from problem statements to solution design, and then breaking that high level design down into discrete segments of useful work.
You have a good instinctual feel for the complexity of a development problem, and can quickly determine which things will be risky/challenging and which should be straightforward.
Once you understand a system concept, you are able to identify the highest value area to work on next. You can work towards a desired end state and come up with your own tasks to achieve it along the way.
You have released and maintained consumer-facing things in the past; your history is not limited to internal business applications or implement-and-handoff contracting engagements.
You are a high output developer. You make rapid progress when building out systems.
Youโre intelligent and learn quickly. Absolutely no one at Radix winds up only doing whatโs in their job description, and adaptability is essential.
What do you need?
5+ years as a professional software engineer
Fluent in C#/.NET
Comfortable at any place in the tech stack above the OS level
Familiarity with the current crypto ecosystem is a plus, but not required. When youโre here, youโll learn a ton about it either way!
