It is seeking a number of developers and engineers to join a team responsible for the operation, development and maintenance of our current and future systems.\n\nThe technology platform is currently undergoing a period of reinvestment and the selected candidates will contribute to this. You will be able to work independently on distributed platforms, contribute effectively to team discussions/decisions and clearly communicate impediments when they arise.\n\n\nFront End Engineer:\n\nAs a Frontend Engineer you will collaborating with a diverse team of backend engineers to maintain and build new applications such as visualisation tools, dashboards and much more.\n\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n* Work with Data Scientist and Backend Engineers to deliver efficient, reusable and responsive front-end systems.\n\n* Participate in end-to-end lifecycle of design, implementation and maintenance of complex data interfaces.\n\n* Find and address performance and security issues.\n\n* Contribute to technical and architectural decision-making, including frontend best practices.\n\n\n\n\nRequired Skills: \n\n\n* Excellent programming skills in Javascript (ES6, async programming...), HTML and CSS.\n\n* Experience with modern JS libraries and tooling (React/redux for example).\n\n* Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities.\n\n* Familiar with REST principles, SEO, client-side performance and cross-browser compatibility.\n\n* Experience with Git, TDD, BDD and CI.\n\n* Fluent written and spoken english.\n\n\n\n\nBonus Skills: \n\n\n* Native app development (ios, android, react native).\n\n* Skills in functional programming eg Java / Scala / Elm etc \n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Engineer, Front End, React, JavaScript, Java, HTML, Scala and Backend jobs that are similar:\n\n $62,500 — $120,000/year\n
