ShareStream Education will not accept resumes from recruiters for this position.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n* Develop web applications using Java and JavaScript\n\n* Develop and contribute to the design of backend microservices\n\n* Build and maintain automated test suites\n\n* Participate in architecture and design sessions.\n\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n\n* BS and/or MS degree in Computer Science or a related degree\n\n* 5+ years of software-engineering experience using Java to develop web applications\n\n* Expert-level Java skills\n\n* Intermediate-level UNIX/Linux skills\n\n* Intermediate-level JavaScript skills\n\n* Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, Elasticsearch and NoSQL databases\n\n* Exceptional problem-solving, debugging and log-analysis skills\n\n* Exceptional software-development habits (use of unit tests, code documentation, etc.)\n\n* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written\n\n* Experience with a scripting language, preferably Python is a plus\n\n* Experience working in a fast-moving startup environment is a strong plus.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
