Our backend tech stack currently consists primarily of Python Flask web apps with our TaskTiger scheduler handling many of the backend asynchronous task processing chores. Our data stores include MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis. The underlying infrastructure runs on AWS using a combination of managed services like EKS, MSK, RDS and ElasticCache and non-managed services running on EC2 instances. All of our compute runs through CI/CD pipelines that build Docker images, run automated tests and deploy to our Kubernetes clusters. Our backend primarily serves a well-documented public API that our front-end JavaScript app consumes. Our infrastructure is heavily automated using Terraform, Ansible and other AWS tools.
Weโre looking for high achieving full-time Software Engineers to join our engineering team. Someone who has a good understanding in web technologies and wants to help design, implement, launch, and scale major systems and user-facing features.

You should have significant experience designing, debugging, and optimizing frontend applications to make them fast and reliable. You should have significant experience designing, debugging, and optimizing frontend applications to make them fast and reliable. We're looking for a full-time Engineering Manager to join our core Product & Engineering Team who has significant experience building, managing, and monitoring backend services at scale. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a medium-sized, talented team where you're supported in your efforts to grow professionally. You are able to manage your time well, communicate effectively, and collaborate in a fully distributed team.
Reporting to the Director of Backend Engineering, you will lead a small team of Python engineers, helping them solve technical challenges, project planning and providing other support as needed to help them build our backend services. About You
As an Affiliate Manager youโll be responsible for managing and supporting our existing network of affiliates as well as growing the number of affiliates in the program through inbound application qualification and some outbound efforts. Weโre looking for a proactive go-getter who is curious about people, has a strong and friendly demeanor, and enjoys talking to people with a vast range of backgrounds.ย
This isnโt your typical affiliate manager role. This program has already grown to produce 10% of our subscription revenue and we are looking for the right person to level up this program and double that number. Proactive outreach to high quality partners that are not producing signups or sales to understand how we can help them drive new customers to Close.ย
Quarterly communication with startups associated with our top startup program partners to drive top startups to use Close as their foundational sales tool.ย
Review and audit monthly affiliate commissions to ensure payouts are correct using Partnerstack.ย

We've listed the primary responsibilities of this role below.\n\n**Crafting and implementing a holistic, data-driven content strategy:**\n\n* Evangelize our unique approach to sales via high-quality contentย \n* Own positive growth on our main content platforms: Blog, content resources, video content, social media (see โPerformanceโ below).\n* Optimize our ongoing content strategy, with an emphasis on funnel position (TOFU, MOFU, BOFU) and content promotion/distribution. Continuous evolvement of this strategy using data is essential.ย \n* Synthesize marketing data and relay it to the content team to inform future plans and initiatives.ย \n* Ensure that the strategy is understood across the marketing team and tie in content efforts to other marketing initiatives whenever possible.ย \n\n**Team management and expansion:**\n\n* The Head of Content will manage our current content team and lead the hiring efforts for new team members. The content team is 3 strong today but weโre aiming to double that team size in the next 12 months. As a servant leader for your team, youโll ensure that each team member is set up for success and can accomplish the goals set before them. Jump in and assist if/when needed.\n* Develop standards and systems for content creation, distribution/promotion, and content repurposing.\n* Ensure that each content team member understands contentโs impact on goals and hold them accountable for their impact. Continuously work to develop their skills and expertise.\n* Host regularly occurring 1:1s with your team, with a focus on their work satisfaction/happiness, any known issues, and future plans.\n* Lead efforts to expand the content team (both full-time employees and contractors).
