Project Overview

Our flagship product is a vast platform with over 30+ sub-domains for online courses, masterclasses, online forums, and community meet-ups in 508 cities in 107 countries. We understand what PHP developers need to thrive, and we've created an environment that delivers.

With a team of 10 developers, we are looking for a new teammate excited about cloud technologies. You will be the one in charge of our cloud architecture and we will rely on you to help us build and evolve our AWS/K8s stack, develop and continuously improve our deployment strategies and ensure observability is in place. We are in the middle of migrating all of our services to AWS and Kubernetes and you’ll be highly involved in this process. • 2 years of professional experience as a system administrator or DevOps engineer
• Working experience with:

-Kubernetes

-AWS

-Monitoring/logging/alerting and troubleshooting

Currently we are three engineers taking care of architecting, implementing and monitoring core functionalities. Each engineer takes projects from A to Z including initial exploration, system design documentation and implementation. Each of us in the team has very different interests within our working domain, this way there is always room for nerdy discussions.

We are looking for software engineers to support our fast growing team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You are responsible for developing and managing our software platforms.

• You will develop high-performance features and macro-services by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.

• You are responsible for implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.

• You work in close collaboration with the Product and UX team.

• You work closely with other developers for the improvement of the overall infrastructure.
  

ROLE REQUIREMENT:

• Strong proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Golang, Java, Scala, Kotlin, C#, Python, PHP.

• Proficiency in at least one strongly typed programming language.

• Experience in containerized, microservice based architectures.

• Experience in software stacks based on DDD, CQRS, and Event Sourcing.

• Preferably experience in financial systems where data reliability is a high concern.

• Preferably DevOps is not a strange word for you, and you have experience in AWS and building CI/CD pipelines.
