About The Opportunity
The Principal Service Consultant guides the overall design and delivery of the Ceridian HCM solution to meet customer requirements and provides oversight and direction to project team members in the execution of project activities in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (planning, discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support). The Principal Service Consultant works closely with the Project Manager to plan the project and identify critical dependencies. Project responsibilities include; facilitation of customer requirements gathering, design of the Ceridian solution to meet documented customer requirements, setting and managing customer expectations, providing guidance and design/configuration oversight to other project resources, identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager.

Document best practices and share with the Practice

You will be responsible for integration and regression testing our frontend, mobile, and backend applications, and will be an advocate for a modern DevOps-first automation-rich development and release pipeline. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating great products and making the world amazing for homebuyers.\n\n\nAt Knock, we have fun, we move fast, we support and celebrate our fellow teammates, and we live by our POPSICLE values.\n\n\n\n\n\nAs a Software Engineer in Test you will: \n\n\n* Lead and create robust test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test result analysis.\n\n* Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of deliverables.\n\n* Build, run and maintain automated functional, integration and regression tests to help improve software quality.\n\n* Build and maintain tooling to facilitate testing in the CI/CD pipelines.\n\n* Design metrics for performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other systems.\n\n* Work deeply with our in-house and field operations team to identify, document, and regression test issues as they occur in the wild\n\n* Collaborate closely and daily with the design, product, engineering teams and other key teams at Knock.\n\n\n\n\n\nWe’re looking for Knockstars who have: \n\n\n* Must be U.S. based.\n\n* B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.\n\n* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a software quality assurance engineer.\n\n* Experience in developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and analyzing test results.\n\n* Experience in building automated functional, integration and regression tests.\n\n* Experience with testing automation frameworks.\n\n* Experience in building automated UI testing for both web and mobile.\n\n* Proven ability to translate functional requirements and use cases into working test plans and test cases.\n\n* A strong customer-first mindset and data-driven approach to their work\n\n* Programming proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and other scripted or interpreted languages.\n\n* Knowledge of SQL (MySQL or Postgres).\n\n* Proven success working remotely in prior positions & are experienced working with a distributed, national team \n\n\n\n\n\nBonus points for:\n\n\n* Team and/or technical leadership experience.\n\n* Development and test experience in Node.js and React Native.\n\n* Experience with native Android and iOS automated test frameworks.\n\n\n\n\n\n* Experience with Docker-based ecosystems and container orchestration systems such as Amazon ECS or Kubernetes.\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat We Can Offer You:\n\n\n* An amazing opportunity to be an integral part of building the next multi-billion dollar consumer brand around the single largest purchase of our lives.\n\n* Talented, passionate and mission-driven peers disrupting the status quo.\n\n* Competitive cash, full medical, dental, vision benefits, 401k, flexible work schedule, unlimited vacation (2 weeks mandatory) and sick time.\n\n* Flexibility to live and work anywhere within the United States.
