We’re close to completing our new Android app but we’re looking for a senior Android consultant with a feeling for video and experience with FFMpeg to help us with the remaining parts.\n\nThe tasks within the project are already defined, but suggestions and comments are very welcome. Your code will be reviewed by another developer to make sure that the knowledge within the code is shared.\n\nThe tasks will involve;\n- Compiling the latest version of FFMpeg with X264 and FDK-AAC\n- Hook FFMpeg to the Java code base\n- Make sure that FFMpeg is updatable\n- Use the meta information which is already gathered in our editing part of the app to work with FFMpeg\n- Apply filters which are defined in the meta information on the FFMpeg output\n- Apply music to the FFMpeg output\n- Upload the generated video to a Amazon S3 bucket and send the meta information to our API\n- Capture Amazon and API errors and relay those to the user\n\nWe’re working towards a release of our new Android app no later than July 1st, so time is of the utmost importance.
